Thanks for watching y'all. Fun fact...although a lot of people know The Momas and The Papas version released in 1969. This was actually a cover for them. It was first released in 1957 by The 5 Royales and the again in 1961 by The Shirelles. And now in 2022 by Walk off the Earth 😜

The musical and vocal talent in this group is beyond belief. The bass player is amazing. It would be a blast to witness rehearsals and arrangement sessions.

I want to thank you and all the guys there for this. Absolute favorite song of mine as my mom would sing it (and introduced me to my favorite group of all time) and I would sing it as a lullaby to my son. This was beautiful! You all have such amazing talents

I sure hope this group knows how awesome they are at their craft. Nobody comes close to their skill at tributing so many artists and songs.
The last time I saw this group, they were all sharing one guitar and singing about somebody we used to know. It's been so long that I'm not even sure how many of these guys were even a part of it back then, but I'm glad to see the group still making music.
There's something special about a ballad that's all strings. No percussion, no brass, nada. Just strings and harmony. BEAUTIFUL.

As a kid I listened over and over through oversized headphones, to this and other Mamas and Papas hits. They inspired my lifelong love of music and singing. This version really captures the original's swelling energy and exuberance. 👏👏

It's been almost 4 years, and I can finally reconnect with such an amazing group again. The talent, and preformance has always been there. But when Mike Taylor (Beard Guy) passed away. It was one of the first deaths in a musical group that truely rocked me to my core. Devastated for months, I inadvertently lost track in following the group and to this day I have passing thoughts of Beard Guy. Rest in peace you legend.

I feel exactly the same. It was shocking, and immensly tragic. Especially as he was always captued as invincible. I miss Beard Guy, and thank him for all the smiles he brought forth.

My little brother Lucas was a big fan of you!
He loved to listen and sing WOTE and Romeo Eats songs! He introduced me to you, and sometimes we sang your songs together with our older brother. He said if there was a WOTE show in Brasil, he would definitely go!
In September, he passed away, and since then we prayed for him every night. Whenever I listen to your songs, I remember him.
When listening to this cover, I felt like It was made for him somehow. This song reminds me of him, and makes me cry. My mother loved it too! I have no doubt that if Lucas was still here, he would be singing with us too!
