    Smart signing for a starter and depth. Will definitely help everyone learn the defense and what is expected of them. Like any L.B. your only as good as your D.L. allows. We get the I.D.L where it needs to be and I'm betting Kendrick will be a 3 down L.B.

    I like the signing. I love how you brought both sides of his game to the table. Do you think he will see more snaps early on while the other players get adjusted to Coach Z's system?

      Vikings fan here: Zimmer loves to start veterans at the beginning of the season and work in draft picks gradually. If he starts a rookie week one or week two it means he is super excited about that player.

    Is some of the dropoff against the run because the Chargers ran a 3-4 and he was fighting off guards? In Zimmer's scheme, he had two big tackles providing cover.

      Most teams play nickel most of the time

      @@Rick_Sanchez_308 true, but the alignment of the front can still be an under front. You saw a standup dude.... Be it Sam or DE and you just replace a LB with a corner. So while its aligned as a 4 man nickel front it's sometimes a 3-3-5 that looks like a 4-2. And if you remember, teams have variants of what they call the LBs. Leo LB in San Quinn's system in Seattle. Jack LB in Wade Phillips. Not fully sure about Staley's scheme but Hendrix said he is coming to Dallas to be a Mike LB. It didn't look like he was a Mike with the Chargers.

    All the break downs say different things. He can’t cover or isn’t good against the run. Somehow they’re all wrong. Dudes literally showing his highlights against the run while saying that bs💀 Along with his consistent tackle numbers (they don’t tell the entire story)

      He showed 5 snaps at the beginning of the film breakdown. Do you think a player should be judged on highlights?

    • @MrExoticDemon
      @MrExoticDemon 3 місяці тому

      @@Rick_Sanchez_308 No player should be judged based off of highlights. But you can’t say he no longer stops the run as he’s doing it. Plus Eric has been an amazing playmaker run or pass throughout his entire career
