- Full set from up on the balcony - unfortunately, I had to get up a few times to let people out, but still got pretty good coverage :D
Epic show. Thumbs up if you were there!

The way they started Born in Dissonance at 35:07 is a nuclear blast
thats what it felt like too xD
Amazing spot to house a Meshuggah performance. Everyone talks about the instrumentation in this band but Jens is the icing on the cake. His non stop brutal screaming and fierce delivery is unbelievable.
I hate myself for missing this entire tour. The band I've seen the most times but I just forgot to keep up with them during the last year. This looked like an amazing gig
The groove of the vocals is INSANE
39:50 "YES!" - I know man, I absolutely know the feeling.
I think i would cry from sensory overload, and joy if I saw any Catch Thirty-three songs live. What a genius album
Update: I guess the tears will flow, I'm seeing them in October :)
i had EXACTLY the same reaction when i saw them in tilburg this year!
@@pentexsucks43 I saw them play that same chunk of Catch33 back when it first came out at a venue the size of a small bar, can’t explain what it was like, soo intimate. In this video, when minds mirrors started, I got stingy eyed, it’s soo good, soo monumental what they accomplished with that album and to have Thordendal back and playing their Magnum Opus… just wow
My favorite band besides Meshuggah for years funny enough even though they couldn't be more opposite musically
That’s a seriously unreal setlist. And closing with Future Breed is too classy.
Nothing from Chaosphere though... :(
was worth it to see some C33
@@grizzlywhisker I would love to see new millennium cyanide christ live
In Death is Life/Death is one of the very best songs that has ever been created. Holy fuck.
Phenomenal show 👏 🙌 they've come such a long way from their first recordings to this!!! What an experience!!
The outro to ligature sparks was so sick, everyone's bald nugget was bouncing to that groove
Sparks 🤣
Ligature Sharks ?
Ligature barks?
The first thing I noticed. A lot of bald heads in that crowd.
Rafael: Maybe too many bald heads in that crowd.
Future Breed Machine. Almost 30 years old. Timeless masterpiece.
Truly a milestone of the metal genre.
Real facts man.
soul burn is better though :(
@@MattMajcan true
First tune by them I ever heard, and still probably my all time favorite!
First broken mosh pit nose 20+ years ago. And ever since.
These dudes playing Royal Albert? Yeah you are officially royalty!
wow, show looks fucking sick from here 1:10:59 lights and music in terrifying unison.
I was at the Glasgow show, fantastic gig! Demiurge into Future Breed Machine damn near killed me lmao
It fills me with insane joy to know that the guys were in Glasgow, as life is about to take me there for the next episode of my existence. Hope to see you at the next gig, fella! \mm/
People often criticize filming of this sort. Especially in smaller places. Someone's got to do it, or we wouldn't be watching it now. You are the man - I mean, woman! Masters of thier time.
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Amazing thank you for sharing this. I was down in row L I believe. What a concert to be at, I'm so happy I went.
I remember my first Meshuggah show in the 90s. EPIC that they still finish with Future Breed Machine. Timeless!
Good job. Thanks for the coverage
Love how for the opener 'Broken Cogs' almost everyone is in motionless awe until that killer riff, then 'Light the Shortening Fuse' it kicks off!
Seeing them in NYC this fall. Saw them in 2019 as my first metal show, and nothing has topped it
both In Death Songs, UNREAL
They have the best Light technician .... Wow 😍😍😍 what a arrengement..
Thnx for this one! I saw them in Brussels and it was pretty amazing
Great show, they always live up to their reputation. Sucks they don't play anything from Chaosphere anymore... New Millennium Cyanide Christ was the song that got me into Meshuggah so I'd be bummed if I saw them and they didn't play it. They have so much material now it must be tough to pick what songs they want to play. I was lucky enough to see them pretty early in their career when they still played stuff like Humilitave, Soul Burn, or even Sickening... Perpetual Black Second is another one that hits super hard live that I love seeing them play. Also, that Broken Cog song from the new album really works well live as an opener with the psychedelic special effects.
I wonder why they don’t play anything from Chaosphere anymore?
@@trippinatormachine I know right? It's sad for me because that was the first Meshuggah album I bought when I was in high school, so it was my introduction to them. I would love to see them put Neurotica back in the setlist. They played it on a couple rare occasions back when they were touring the Koloss album and I was really surprised to hear it live.
Esse solo de Future Breed Machine é a coisa mais insana que tem.
I was in this concert on the side stalls. Tried to convince the security to let me join the moshpit but he didn't let me. The tickets were full for the the arena.
Security at meshuggah is tight. Got kicked out of the last shuggah concert for smoking a joint. I was on acid too so it didn't feel very good. Thought about joining the pit to escape but damn thing looked like a tornado
I had tickets for the first floor but got in the pit just after Zeal and Adror ended their set, without any issue !
Hello. If you want to protect your ears from acoustic impact, I recommend that you use a piece of cotton. Put it in such a way that you have your hearing protected,(do not plug) but at the same time, that it lets you hear. Thank you.
Awesome. I just did a quick run through of the album. Sounds heavy as shit! I'm gunna listen to it properly all through later! \m/
I'm sure we're all excited to see them play phantoms
The lighting engineer is the 6th member of the band.
Cannot fucking wait to see them in October, I'm definitely gonna need a neck brace afterwards (that is if my head doesn't fly clean off during future breed machine 🤘)
Dude i got tickets for October too! Im going to the factory in dallas how about you?
@@MrAmerica69420 fillmore in denver, I'm so pumped
51:44 - in time with the drop 🤣 so sorry!
yep, perfect timing xD
I have to take his side: He really was sorry. You can literally hear it in his voice.
Man I wish the Catch 33 part would be slightly higher tempo like it is on the record, but at the same time Future breed machine sounds better live than on the record in terms of heaviness.
Fucking Awesome!😁
oh my god
LMFAO the beginning of Born in Dissonance at 35:12 is priceless
👍🎸💣🤟✌️
I'm the guy in the unicorn onesie (light blue). If anyone has a timestamp with a good view on me pls comment down here. 🤘🏼 Cheers
Saw you from the top balcony. Laughed my ass off👌🏻
1:17:15
Are those original organ pipes up top?
They have been rebuilt and restored a couple of times since being originally built, but it's the second largest organ in the UK! makes a great backdrop to the set xD
Maaaaan....Demi into Future Breed is bananas. They'd have to wheel me out in a wheelchair cause i'd lose all my shit.
1:17:52 mad solo
6:58 to 7:05ish meshuggah pit change is always ntense haha
Man, where is phantoms on this set list. They must not play it to avoid inciting a riot that shakes the very core of geopolitical issues.
Was this filmed from Stoke on Trent?
even worse, filmed from my mobile phone up on the balcony :'D
They need more Violent Sleep of Reason
In there 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
Is that Fredrik?
wheres bleed 😐

Loved the guy in the back "YES! yes! yes! YES!" for Mind's Mirrors + In Death Is Life/ Death. It is SO good to hear C33 stuff again. Also surprised but glad to see them not play Bleed. A welcome change. Like AaL with Cafo, it's good, but it's only so interesting to milk the same cow for so long. Great footage BTW
Can't wait for this shooow
OMG I so hope they play this when I see them!!!!
Exactly!! Was almost moved to hear him screaming "YES" and the girls loooong scream in awe to what to come!! What a massive performance!! My fellow countrymen🙏❤️... Aging with style and dignity! 💪🤘And by the way... Thank you Cheesewoman for this upload. An achievment to hold that mobile for a full set. 🙏🤗
@@cardinalofcrunk I think the set list for the tour has been the same every show I have seen so far for the Immutable tour so I am hoping it looks like this when I see them too
I thought the same about bleed…. FBM was a banging finisher….
incredible that the bioluminescence from Tomas's feet and hands can light up a whole auditorium like that! what an incredible gig, one of the best nights in my life
bioluminescence ?
@@nico_mezare Sounds like somebody trying to sound smart.
@@yngvebalmsteen9174 199 people were smart enough to understand the joke, lol
Thank you for this! My all time favorite band, there will never be another one like Meshuggah!
Holy shit when ligature marks starts it's like atomic bombs dropping. It was always my dream to see meshuggah live, but I don't know If I would handle it, because my system would probably overload and crash in pure ecstasy.
I saw them one time quite a while ago and it is like sensory overload. There was a time where I thought I was a decent rhythm guitarist, but listening to them I felt like a mindless child on the subject lol. It was glorious.
Seen them many times in various kinds of venues and they're finally on a nordics tour so I catched them last weekend. It's always an incredible experience, I just become something different in their shows 😂 yes that sounds cringe but I can't get enough of it. Since I was 15 and discovered them from someone's tape recorder. Almost 25 yrs ago man
Pravus is such a kick ass Song after all these years
It's like metal Pink Floyd!
🤨
29:22 holy s**t it looks like explosions
Catch33 material is GOAT, had me soo pumped just like the guy in the video screaming “YES” I got a little misty eyed ngl🤣my fav band, doing it the best for over 30 years now, they have have achieved Gandalf the white status;)
I was at the Rock City gig on May 26th, best gig I've been to in years. Everything was on point. Like 2 years of covid restriction frustrations unleashed, the pit was almost the size of the entire floor at one point. Mental.
Yes! I drove down to Leeds for that one. The energy in the room was just absolutely incredible, been a long time since I've been to a gig like that.
Same here mate I got bare recordings of that show but I was more focused on them performing than getting good footage 😂
I was so shocked that they played In Death is Life / Death, the atmosphere at Rock City was so nice, really good vibes and people dancing when the heaviest bits were dropping, amazing gig ❤️
My mental health was in a bad way before this gig, but it’s really changed my outlook.
I love how the camera guy or someone next to them constantly screams ''YESS''
Love hearing that
I was here, this is the best I've ever seen them. Truly a legendary show
Saw them on this tour in Manchester and it fucking blew me away. I've seen Meshuggah on every tour they'd one in the UK since the 2008 ObZen tour and I genuinely think this was the best I have ever seen them. So tight, so brutal and that light show! Fucking *WOW* ! Brave decision to drop Bleed but it paid off as Mind's Mirrors into In Life was absolutely worth it.
Oh man I can’t wait until this tour hits my country. Meshuggah’s light shows are truly something to behold, and this show’s light show being shown from this angle just makes me ten times more keen for this tour.
Edvard is a beast on the lights
I was there that night
What a show
10/10 would recomend seeing them live
It sounds great through someone’s phone so imagine what it sounded like live!
1:09:21 The syncro slow headbang in the mosh is godly
guitar hero 3 vibes
im pretty sure at that very moment you can spot someone headbanging so hard that he ends up headbutting someones back lmao.
finally people found the beat 1 in this terrible mess of time signatures. p.s. no offense to Meshuggah - love them
@@bo77om "Terrible mess of time signatures". :D No... pretty much all their songs are in 4/4. :)
the guy working the lights deserves a raise
Completely agree. Unbelievable
He hasn't performed that live for a while now, but it's certainly an incredible job even just programming them
@@reezlaw thanks for the insight!
@@MrRexVG I went to see them every single time they came to Italy since 1995 and this one time, before they switched to pre-programming in MIDI, I was right next to the lights guy, he was basically performing his own instrument on all the songs. I was speechless
@@reezlaw thats insane, I hope one day I get to see him go to work
11:38 was the best moment of the gig - spine tingling!
thanks for the upload, what did you use to film it?
Just my old Samsung galaxy S10 haha

That ending part and the solo of Straws Pulled at Random always sounds and feels like total catharsis.
AMAZING PROFILE PICTURE YOU HAVE...THE BEST BLACK METAL ALBUM EVER
DEATHSPELL OMEGA!!!
Finally got a chance to see Meshuggah last night after being a huge fan for 18 years. It was easily the tightest and greatest performance I’ve ever seen. I’m still mind blown.
damn man, i first hear em in 98 but have seen em 5 times and will go see em again in a few weeks
Fredrik's alien solo in Future Breed Machine is different and just nuts every time he plays it
Ty for the upload, now I can relive this amazing show. I LOVE the transition from demiurge into future breed machine
I have to wait to till September to witness greatness. This show looks insane. Wow 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was at this show. All the way from Mexico!! Incredible show in an amazing venue. It was a dream of mine to witness Royal Albert Hall and what a fantastic band to do it with. Dont mind ‘Bleed’, ‘Pravus’ was played.
That drop in Pravus at 20:20 is just so heavy live, it's amazing
What an amazing show this was. I think even better than the roundhouse?
Those are my top 2 for Meshuggah also. I think this topped it.
Both amazing gigs, I think this one topped it, although Roundhouse did have Car Bomb as support which was awesome
The ending was so emotional when they hugged and took pics :D
the fact that these guys can play songs from any album and it'll still be one of the greatest metal shows of the year. that shows true perfection of the art. these setlists span 30 years of material....mind blowing.
1:18:47 guy totally loses his mind in front of the right side of the stage... rightfully so
Lol yea, I love that the secu guard is like, you ok dude?
Thank you! Meshuggah is my fav metal band right now...and probably from now on
Meshuggah never dissappoint, bad-fucking-ass 🔥🔥🔥🔥
They're so perfect live it sounds as if they're running a ton of tracks but none.
Seeing this band live has to be a life changing experience. I have wanted to see them live since I first started listening to them, their musicianship is just insane. I can't wait for the day I get to see them
Today will be the day!
Can confirm. Now i can only listen to meshuggah basically. Also im buying a 8 string
I need to see this band live also
I couldn’t make this gig 😢 and had to stay in Australia. Thankyou so much for recording this 😁 i was hoping they would professionally have it shot 🎥 now it doesn’t matter 👍 cheers 😊
If I'd have known so many people were going to watch it I would've tried to get a better camera than my phone!! So glad you like it though, hopefully you can make a future gig!
Thanks for filming! I was there too and absolutely loved it!
Light show, music and venue were awesome. Did miss Bleed and NMCC tho, but still amazing
They stopped ding Bleed cause it’s causing numbness in Tomas’s feet and Martens hands .
@@metadata5638 damn, that's unfortunate
The intro is perfect! Doom and gloom before the goddamn madness

Same. Great gig, poor venue but meshuggah were sick
The mic's left channel keeps getting covered up and I literally thought I lost my hearing in my left ear haha! Would've been brutal! Thanks for the recording, they still sound fantastic!!
Yeah I'm so gutted that happened, I noticed as well when I listened back. I think my finger slipped over it when I had to stand up and move a bit to let someone past xD but you're right, still fantastic!! Thanks so much for the kind words!
Heaviest band ever
Heavy and incredibly precise
Not even close to being among the heaviest. One of the most complex, yet not too underground-like? Absolutely. Heaviness? 7.5/10

Same exact set I saw the other day in Cleveland, Ohio! Our venue was a fraction of the size of this one. Good to see people moshing there in London :)
Damn not only do you go deaf at these shows, but blind as well! The light shows are awesome.
I have tickets for September and initially I was trying to avoid any footage from the tour, but I simply cannot help myself. Immutable has been pretty much all that's entered my ears since April. 😬
Best gig I've been to, just incredible and hypnotic. Pravus was the highlight for me, the lighting for that one was so good.
How amazing would it be if this was made into a concert film, Alive-style?
I wish I had a better camera honestly, it would've been amazing!!
I love meshuggah but wish they would play more from chaosphere and contradictions collapse live. They never seem to play anything from those 2 albums 😪
going to see them in Riverside in October, can't wait!! gonna be down in the pit with some friends
Thank you thank you thank you for uploading this. I'm a fan not only of Meshuggah but also Edvard's work, their light designer. It's always magnific 💡
