- The Duke of Sussex will seek to appeal against a High Court ruling dismissing his challenge over a decision to change the level of his personal security when he visits the UK, a spokesman has said.
Harry took legal action against the Home Office over the February 2020 decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that he should receive a different degree of taxpayer-funded protection when in the country.
Ravec’s decision came as a result of a change in the duke’s “status” after he stopped being a “full-time working member of the royal family”, a judge was told.
In a judgment on Wednesday, retired High Court judge Sir Peter Lane rejected the duke’s case and concluded Ravec’s approach was not irrational nor procedurally unfair.

Have you seen the route this supposed NYC chase took?!😂 They only had to go about 10 city blocks, from the award show in midtown, to a home on the upper east side, but somehow turned it into a crazy 2-hour drive in circles, stopping to visit the police station 3 TIMES, changing cars twice, (but managing to capture it all for Netflix!)$$$ Somehow the city that’s hosted the world’s most celebrated business leaders, heads of state, and world-class elite just couldn’t handle Harry, Meghan, and Doria and the 2 Honda Civics following them, hoping for pictures 🙄🙄🙄
A++++ celebrities like Taylor Swift, Angelina Jolie, Beyonce etc constantly visit NYC and get around without putting out press releases of "catastrophic car chases". NYers were laughing at them, and when they come here, their visits don't even cause a ripple...no one cares. At that event they attended before the "car chase", there were more photographers there than spectators looking for them...we don't care.

No two children from the same source are the same in personality, emotional vulnerabilities and sensitivity to their surroundings. Harry was younger and more troubled by his mother’s death. The set up was much earlier, making her mistrust the highly experienced security services who could have actually kept her safe by providing vetted drivers, and taking no orders from a playboy friend.
You can buy that version of the story if you want. More than one source has discussed the strategic plan to get rid of Diana. Not the least of which was her support of Palestinian interests in the eradication of land. In order for that to happen, a lot of things were put into motion. The driver allegedly was not drunk, but was drugged through an injection to his neck after the crash.

@@liliaramos7901 I don't know where people get this from - getting security does not mean that you get access to sensitive data. There will be some people who hold IPP status who do have access to sensitive data - eg government officials, heads of state - but that does not apply in all cases.
Data has different classifications, and you only get to see that data if you have a purpose and rank to see it. So, there will be high level government officials with IPP status who do not have clearance to see data about, the MOD, for instance, because it is not part of their remit. IPP status does not, as you and others seem to imagine, give you the key to unlock all the mysteries of the universe. Ask yourself this - would you give a man like Harry access to confidential information?
