It's OK, we all waited to see how they sing it to know how to pronounce it. It is not a real word, it is part of their lore. Hala Hala is coming from the "Hearts Awakened Live Alive", as is the title of the track. Also, Halazia derives from it, it is not a place or a real word in any language, except Ateez's, of course. And... Ateez have their alter egos - Halateez (the guys in black with the hats, as you see them here in the "Hala Hala" video). Also, you will notice that most of Ateez's videos have additional scenes at the end, which are clues to how their story line develops. If you are interested in ATEEZ's storyline, I can drop an explanation here in the comments.
@@killerkoareacts OK, so here comes the long explanation which does not aim to be the best one by any means. Here is something written by another person that explain more or less what is going on. But keep in mind this was written in 2022, so all the mv's that came out after that showed the development of the story with their ending scenes. BobbyJCorwen 2y ago Hoo boy--I'm going to do my best to explain what I know as simply as possible, but the story is complicated and there are a lot of things that we simply don't know for sure. The first thing you need to know is that there are multiple dimensions--two we know of so far. There's the "real world" where Ateez come from and "Strictland" where Halateez (aka The Black Pirates) come from. Strictland is kind of a dystopian nightmare world where people aren't allowed to have feelings, so music has been banned. The Black Pirates were essentially a dance crew who decided to revolt against the government (run by android guardians in white suits) by going around and putting on shows for people, I assume to remind them what it was like to feel emotions. The guardians could never catch up to them because the Black Pirates had a Cromer, an hourglass that allowed them to travel through time and across dimensions and also to enter dreams depending on the phase of the moon. I don't know how they have the Cromer, they just do. Somehow, however, the Android Guardians capture Halateez. My theory is that when Hala-Joong travels to the real world to give Hongjoong the Cromer, he's basically giving up Halateez's best weapon against the Guardians. Why? Again, it's only a theory, but I think that he traveled into the future at one point and saw that they would be defeated unless they got Ateez involved. So they gave up their weapon (the Cromer) in order to ensure their ultimate victory over the Guardians. Ateez's story starts in the real world. The boys all have somewhat tragic backstories, but they find comfort in their friendships with each other and their love of music. They hang out in an old warehouse that apparently Yeosang's father owns. However, due to a lot of pressures from adults and society and within themselves, they all end up going their separate ways. However, when Halajoong appears to Hongjoong with the Cromer, HJ activates it and it summons all of Ateez to the warehouse and they are transported to Strictland. Once there, they get attacked by Guardians. They escape at first, but eventually lose the Cromer. They are rescued by the Grimes siblings who explain Strictland's whole deal (emotions = bad) and tell them that they need to rescue the Black Pirates (Halateez) who have been imprisoned by the Guardians. To do this, they need the help of Left Eye who was a former fashion designer whose daughter died and now he runs a dump all while hallucinating that his daughter is still alive. Hijinks ensue, but eventually Ateez, the Grimes siblings, and Left Eye all board a boat for the island where the Guardian headquarters is located in an old art gallery. Once there, most of the members meet the Hala versions of themselves trapped in glass cases. Suddenly, the members are wearing the Black Pirates' black suits (I cannot even begin to unpack this. I don't know if they merged into one being or if Ateez is taking Halateez's place--I really don't know). Meanwhile, Yeosang goes on a solo mission to find the Cromer himself. Which he does, but then he gets apprehended by the Guardians. In a desperate attempt to save the other members, he breaks the Cromer which sends everyone except for him back to the real world. Yeosang is trapped in a glass case like Halateez and has to watch while people (including the Grimes siblings) are being drained of their energy or life force and basically turned into lifeless zombies in cloaks. Meanwhile, back in the real world, Ateez is stressing about how to save Yeosang with no Cromer. But it turns out, the real world has its own version of the Cromer on display at a museum. But, oh no! It's about to be stolen from the museum by a crazy scientist and religious cult leader named Henry Jo. So, Ateez (minus Yeo and Yunho (it's a long story)) decide to stop Henry Jo and steal the Cromer for themselves. However, Henry Jo takes Ateez hostage. Yunho sees this on the news and gathers up his biker gang (????) and they go to the museum to save Ateez. More hijinks happen and Ateez manages to get the Cromer and head back to Strictland where they have an all-out brawl with the Guardians and save Yeosang. After that, they head out into the Treasure series and it's unclear exactly what the plot of the Treasure series is. We know that after all the adventures of the Fever series, Ateez has found their identity and decided to stick together to chase after their dreams (Treasure). Since time travel is involved, it's difficult to tell exactly how the Treasure MVs fit into a timeline. We know Say My Name happens directly after the Fever series ends, but after that it's much less clear. There are LOTS of theories but the MVs are vague enough that nothing is set in stone. Also, there's probably a time loop, so that just further complicates things because there might be Treasure events that happen in one loop but not in another.
They are not usually like that cause yg popularized that hype parts at the end. I think it started in either the real or guerilla where they go crazy at the end
What mingi said is "FIX ON!" it's his signature verse, telling people to fix their attention on him since he's about to rap meanwhile Hongjoong's is his giggle/laugh.
Yes, plus this also means they contributed to the production or writing of the song too. It's their signature like other rappers do in Western Hip hop culture.
18:32 “Imagine this part at a concert” bro you have to see it it’s amazing, when they performed guerrilla at Coachella the sound of atiny screaming “break the wall” was heard at the other stages across the whole place! I want to watch it live some day😩

the break the wall part in concerts goes so hard that theyve actually mentioned a couple of times before that they cant even hear the music in their in-ears so they're basically dancing while they cant hear the music lmao

Yes Mingi says "Fix On" before every part he has in any song and it's almost the same for honjoong when he laughs or giggles before any rap part he has !!
Can attest the Break the wall part at concerts is insane! Atiny cannot talk the next day 😂 The Real and Bouncy are really fun ones from them to react to soon 🙏 thanks for another great Ateez reaction!

After watchin all the MVs u should definitely check out their dance practices and their live stages cuz they're insanely incredible performers especially san and seonghwa.
cant wait to see your reactions to their other songs... one recommendation from me is the real 興 ver from fever epilogue!! wave from one to all(? blue and yellow treasure album) is my forever favourite, check that out along with illusion from the same album too! if youre looking for a more happy vibe, eternal sunshine is your go to. feeling sexy? check out deja vu. feeling sentimental? turbulence does the trick. want to feel like a protagonist? maybe treasure from their first album! and erm, 18:32 for someone that has been to their concert, i can comfirm that the whole stadium was shaking from people shouting break the wall. oh right! if you play the guerrilla m/v and start then halazia, you can see that the ending tune from guerrilla m/v connects! more examples of these (if i remember correctly) are eternal sunshine + the real 興 ver m/vs, bouncy + crazy form m/v and a lot more. try to catch them all heehee
Hey, thanks for the reaction to ATEEZ! ❤ In case you are wandering who is who in the Hala Hala video: 0:38 (front and center): Yeosang, also at the mid of the line and the vocal at 2:03. 0:49 (the two guys the center touching their palms): left is Seonghwa, right is Wooyoung. The voice: starts with Wooyoung and then Seonghwa continues and comes to the front. 1:48 again Seonghwa, at the front of the formation. Also at 3:03 center. 1:55 Wooyoung comes at the front of the dance formation (after Seonghwa), and also this is the guy that is last standing at the end of the video. 0:59 Hongjoong, the Captain of Ateez. Also at 2:33 in the center and at 3:15 1:11 Jongho, the high notes guy you like so much (by the way, we all do too -))) 1:42 also he is the one that goes to the floor (left front corner of the dance formation). And 2:30 front and vocals. 1:22 voice and the guy coming to the front with the crazy body isolation - San 1:27 Yunho, main dancer of the group (but honestly.. they all are), and also at 2:40 center and vocals. 2:14 Mingi, the rap line, hard to miss. Also at 3:27
Also, what Mingi says usually in the beginning of his rap is the phrase "Fix on", so you should focus on him. About Guerrilla at a concert.. oh, man.. Guerrilla sounds heavenly live at a concert. I have experienced it twice and the fan chant was so loud the building was about to fall. ATEEZ's leader - Hongjoong, said in an interview that when they dance to the ending part of Guerrilla they actually can not hear the music because of us screaming, so they are just dancing by memory. ATEEZ are on a tour in America right now, and will be in Europe in the beginning of 2025. If you are into concerts, I suggest you try and go see them. There are videos from fans here an there in the social media, you could see what it's like.
Thanks for this reaction! I appreciate all the pausing and going back to re-listen to parts. Also I love that you noticed the instrumentals in their songs. ❤ I got to hear all these songs live at their concert last year. My voice only got back to normal on the 5th day after the concert. 😂 Btw, there is a Guerrilla (Flag version) which I love even more. It doesn't have an MV, the version was included on a Japanese EP (Paradigm). And if you like metal, there are metal versions of Halazia and Guerrilla and Crazy Form done by Djuni. So goood 😤
I relieved when I saw the timeline and u put guerrilla at the end because that song, is pEAK. it's so overwhelming because so many things happen, not only in the mv but also the song. i still remember the first time I heard it, such a core memory. thanks for checking ateez!
You have to watch, "GUERRILLA" live there are so many concert clips out there. The reason why Atinys were saying "Break the Wall" is because, in the end, Atinys chant "Break the Wall" loudly in concerts. Even in Coachella, you could hear the chant in another stages live other than Sahara. This chant has gotten so popular, that "Guerrilla" became ATEEZ's one of the signature songs!
If you look at the mv for halazia when you first see yeosang the city that’s on fire is the city in guerrilla. The order to watch it is guerilla and then halazia. Also if you watch the teaser trailer for the world ep movement it’ll explain what they are doing throughout the story line during this era of ateez and halateez.
Oh wow this could very well be my top three songs from ATEEZ right here 🤩🥰 I mean Halazia, for sure, is my all time favourite. Horizon perhaps is there for me too. And Star 1117 for sentimental reasons.
if you follow each credit you will know which song will come next.. for example you watched Guerilla in the credits the next song is Halazia.. every ending in Ateez's songs appears the msc
Thank you for your reaction to ATEEZ❤ I'm curious about your opinion on Ateez new upcoming album "Golden Hour", they'll comeback on May 31st and I'm so excited !
Just wanted to clear it up for new and confused Atinys. Halateez aren't really good or bad. They are just Ambitious and willing to do anything to accomplish their goals or dreams. They are "burning" with passion for their dreams. The so called "suicide Squad" that Hongjoong had in mind when they first debuted. Because the all to 1 albums were very "me/my goals and dreams" (see Desire Lyrics or Live video for reference) compared to the "yours/our dreams and the journey along the way" (see Utopia lyrics for example) mentally of the Treasure albums. You can even see in Answer Mv that the answer is not Ateez or Halateez, but Both. You need ambition/passion to achieve your goals and you need the experience/the friends along the journey and hope to achieve your goals/dreams. Hope this helps clear some confusion for others 💜
I don’t wanna see any comments about how I pronounced ‘halazia’ XD
5:11 your smile when you got it 🤭

Btw, there is a Guerrilla (Flag version) which I love even more. It doesn't have an MV, the version was included on a Japanese EP (Paradigm).
And if you like metal, there are metal versions of Halazia and Guerrilla and Crazy Form done by Djuni. So goood 😤
I’m glad you enjoyed! Metal versions?! I can’t even imagine xD
I relieved when I saw the timeline and u put guerrilla at the end because that song, is pEAK. it's so overwhelming because so many things happen, not only in the mv but also the song. i still remember the first time I heard it, such a core memory. thanks for checking ateez!
Oh my gosh u need check both their The World album EP 1 & 2 together, the album very heavy lore oriented just like their MV
I’ve listened to the The World EP 1 and EP FIN on my Patreon so far! I gotta listen to EP 2 soon ✨
Thanks for reacting to Ateez again 😊looking forward to more Ateez reactions 😁👍
Thank you for watching! 🙏✨
This chant has gotten so popular, that "Guerrilla" became ATEEZ's one of the signature songs!
you should check out guerilla live stage it’s FIREEE
you should react to IT’s You by Ateez (San,Wooyoung & Yeosang) you wont be disappointed
I actually reacted to that song and the rest of “THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL” on my Patreon!
The first of the Parks (as in Park Seonghwa) is believed to have hatched of an egg before ruling the country…
Pirate Ming … their debut song
If you look at the mv for halazia when you first see yeosang the city that’s on fire is the city in guerrilla. The order to watch it is guerilla and then halazia. Also if you watch the teaser trailer for the world ep movement it’ll explain what they are doing throughout the story line during this era of ateez and halateez.
Wow that’s a cool detail!
Ateez es otro nivel
Esta años luz
my recomendations for u to react next are the real, deja vu, inception and eternal sunshine, they are some of my faves:)
Oh wow this could very well be my top three songs from ATEEZ right here 🤩🥰 I mean Halazia, for sure, is my all time favourite. Horizon perhaps is there for me too. And Star 1117 for sentimental reasons.
Mingi says Fix On, usually before his raps
You're just like me.. when I first heard this song, I was trying to just sing the Halazia part, too! 😂
if you follow each credit you will know which song will come next.. for example you watched Guerilla in the credits the next song is Halazia.. every ending in Ateez's songs appears the msc
yay more ateez!!
they're having a comeback on may 31 with the title track Work! i'd love to see you react to it when it comes out
Highly recommend bouncy and wonderland and wave as well
quickly check "bouncy" as well
Please react to Ateez guerrilla Coachella performance. You can see how good they doing live performance. They’re really going crazy there.
Thank you for your reaction to ATEEZ❤ I'm curious about your opinion on Ateez new upcoming album "Golden Hour", they'll comeback on May 31st and I'm so excited !
The Break The Wall chant is the Atiny version of Horton Hears a Who.😂
😂
More Ateez reaction 🙏
