- Battlefield 2042 has an awesome Combat Reconnaissance Armored Buggy. Let's have some fun in the EBLC RAM. The RAM devours helicopters airplanes and armor when using the six-missile set up. It's been a while since I jumped into this beautiful piece of machinery in Battlefield 2042. When I do drive this beast, I use the missiles, since they are more effective against aircraft and armor. They're useful against infantry as well, but that's too easy. I love the challenge of taking out aircraft and heavy armor. Remember to lead your shots way in front of the aircraft and you're guaranteed a successful engagement. I really hope you enjoy the clips. If you do leave me a comment and a like. The RAM is fucking OP. Just came to say I just got a 60 - 0 run. Absolutely dominated and now I'm here. If you get a squad, it's insane. I use the 30 mm cannon for essentially one shotting, grenade launcher and the AA flak. You can take out anything and if you use the smoke and the automated defence properly you can never die because you just run away. Absolutely underrated and the most fun I've had ever.
@sherazuki I couldn't agree more, the RAM is a true terror on the battlefield. Congrats on that run man. The RAM takes some getting used to, but once you get the mechanics down it is dangerous. It sounds like you got the hang of it. 👍
I know what you mean about having that squad. We had a 4-man squad in the RAM the other night and unfortunately the recording got corrupted somehow. Come to find out there was a bug in May OBS Studio update. The bug seems to be fixed now. I was so disappointed, because we had a solid crew communicating on discord and tearing it up out there. The RAM is definitely underrated for sure. Thanks for sharing your amazing game you had 🏆
Looks like any vehicle in the game is better than the Wildcat as Mobile AA.
Yep, it's starting to look that way these days. The RAM is harder to take out with a Helicopter versus the Wildcat. Not sure what has change. Thanks for the comment 👍

I didn't know that the missiles were that good
They're pretty strong. They used to be stronger, but I feel they secretly got adjusted. On armor though you have to be careful and make sure you get the first 6 on them.

That's good to hear! You're welcome! It's a great vehicle in the game. I will be honest, it's one of the toughest vehicles for me to take out when I am flying. It moves quick and the crab turning abilities can get you out of trouble. Also, if you get a good crew in there, it gives helicopters a lot of trouble.
I was reading up on the real vehicle and it's called the Panhard CRAB (Combat Reconnaissance Armored Buggy). it's a pretty cool military vehicle
I've only had 1 quick go in this vehicle. Now I want lots more 🙂👍

I love this vehicle I recently got it tier 1 like you I just wish it was less bouncy sometimes! When I’m driving it around it feels like it has zero weight to it lol
Awesome to hear and congrats on getting to Tier 1. I couldn't agree more, the vehicle is amazing, but it can use some suspension tuning or upgrade of some sort. It's way to bouncy. 🤣 If you get a good solid squad of four in this vehicle you can provide tons of support for the team.
It did inspire me to use it more.

Great attn to detail! There was about 12 sec left in that frame that I left out, due to shaving off some time to keep the video around 10min. I should've left it in. I stopped a little ways up, the player repaired and jumped in with me. It's the subtle things that make a difference and awesome you pointed that out 👍

Hey @yeahnah6468 welcome to the channel. From time to time there can be some audio issues while recording. Whether it be software related or equipment related. During the time of the recording for this video (Feb 2023) I was experiencing intermittent voice audio issues. This went on for about a month or so, until I was able to rectify the issue. In order to save the footage for the video I needed to do a voice over in certain places. It was tough to do, but I did it to save it. All intros are done after the recording, because well they're intros. When I fly solo, I am doing live commentary while playing and same applies to when I do collabs with friends. You never know sometimes there's recording hiccups and a simple voice over can save some good footage. I'm sure there are a lot of channels that have had to do a voice over from time to time. It's the nature of content creation my friend. Thanks for your comment, man, I really appreciate it. 🤜🤛

@iaketano6024 Nice, the bolt is so tough for me to drive. I see a lot of good drivers on the Battlefield in the bolt. It has great horsepower and firepower to be dangerous. Hopefully you get the T1 soon my friend.
The RAM is a true beast. The crab turning ability can maneuver in tight areas and take out plenty. Believe me, they hunt me a lot and try do get rid of me. Later today I will be uploading another RAM video and in some of these clips they want me gone 🤣Those javelins are dangerous

People complain that helis are OP but there are tools like this in the game to deal with them

If you have a whole crew of 4 in the RAM it's awesome, because they have all areas covered. The RAM is also faster, can crab turn and can climb up terrain better. You have to be more careful with the RAM, its armor is not strong like the Wildcat
As for the Wildcats, you can ride solo and do a lot more in keeping the skies consistently clear. I feel like the Wildcat has more fire power than RAM.

it's possible Dice secretly adjusted the missiles and other stuff. They will do that from time to time. I remember there being a secret fix list leak somewhere on reddit. It was quite interesting. I did use the RAM the other day on the new map and it did feel a little different. Mainly it seemed to be with the engine sound and shifting into gears sound. There wasn't a lot of helis in the air for me to test that portion. I will try and do some testing soon.
I am and will always be against helping software tools for any video games. How can a player actually think to call themselves good when they use assisting software. Blows my mind. I would get bored, because there is no challenge. Thanks for your comment.

When tracking/leading that far ahead at long distance, I am creating a slightly larger missile pattern in order to effectively connect with the target. Six missiles are all you get, then you have to wait for the reload, which is roughly close to 10sec. It would be nice to be on the other end of those missile so I can see how the grouping looks.
You playing hardcore? Because when I use these rockets they’re useless😂
No sir, not hardcore. Just regular ole conquest. I wish there was a hardcore mode like the good ole days. I know portal has it, but I don't play on portal unless there's an air superiority server running. I believe it take 3-4 missiles to take out an attack heli when they are at full health. Hind and Condor take much more. You have 6 in the pod, so you have to do your best to make them count. It's pretty tricky to do, but you will get it with some practice 👍A lot of leading the target is needed. Believe me I missed a lot and had to track them down again.
@@swiftfrags I really like the 1st choice off ammo, fires really fast and takes out any tank easily!😂 Definitely liking the new vehicle! The AA turret is amazing on it!😜😂
@@Bert3HD Yes that 40mm cannon powerful. Overall, this vehicle is a beast and can do a lot of damage and provide great support all around. The turret is top notch. I love the EBLC Ram
I wish Dice made a 2nd equipment slot. One slot for Smoke or Thermal Smoke. The second slot Repair system or Active Protection system.
