99WHr is the max capacity on a battery due flight restrictions, so much to that limitation
Limitation on a plane is 100Wh and companies limit to 99.99 for that reason.
@@michaelspraggins5246 The thing is most of modern batteries has a reserve" to further lifespan, so a 99.99wh is most likely a 100wh
@@pedro4205 I mean sure. I highly doubt they could hit 99.99Wh exact capacity, because even that is nominal with some cells being slightly higher/lower.
The point was more that they aren't breaking the airline limit, because the limit isn't 99Wh, it's 100. If they were going to willfully break the flight restriction I don't think they'd pass certification for one and for two, they could go a lot higher than 99.99Wh.

wow the screen/monitor is amazingly vibrant and sharp.
I'm definitely impressed with the CPU temps. How did the laptop sound when it was playing games? I remember my MSI sounded like a jet engine.
Seeing the inside and from the brand record at best mode where that thing use fullpower mosy likely 58-60dbe, Its alwasy best thing to use the balance power mode.
Edit : Remember new laptop have fresh Thermalpaste and when they send it to reviewer most likely they check it first ,maybe that why its have low temp on video.
@@lmso1367 you'd be surprised, 1 month in with the same set up and it's very very cool, makes a lot of noise if you want max outta it but honestly runs great even in silent mode

I personally have a 2017 MSI still daily driving it without any issues, I think MSI must be one of the most underrated laptop brands.
Good to know. I'm running an Asus g15 with a 3070 at the moment but in the future I may move over to msi. Asus had a bit of a learning curve as far as optimization goes and getting their software to mesh well with windows. Overall I'm happy with it though.
Yeah they quite underrated, looking the kind of specs they offered even for the entry level gaming models is such a bargain make up for their lack of marketing outside of esports world and too dark and edgy for my liking looks.
Honestly their brand gaming chairs and brand are everywhere yet most PC stores only sell mainstream brands like HP and Dell and Asus Acer etc. here in my country.
All of this game hit nearly same performance while playing on my msi gf65 with i7 10750h rtx 3060

I have the i9 12900hx 3080ti version and man it's a beast. I can't complain about one thing. Temps are the best and you can actually keep it on auto fan setting without heating up

Love the channel! Im switching from my Apple M2 to a PC laptop (desktop is PC) as I see in my workflow with VFX the Apple just does not cut it. Off topic but if you haven't already you should check out the new mini pcs by miniforums coming out the Neptune HX90G and the NUCX15/17 versions and the another by another company coming out which will probably be the last one to come out of the three the Serpent Nuc 12 enthusiast, I would love to see your thoughts in a video on those once everything is released, I've watched probably all your videos on mini pcs and it's been alot of fun, seems like the future of pcs in my opinion.

If you do a laptop review at least add a thermal/noise graph. I'm guessing most people already know gaming laptops are jet engines but if the temps were good and the noise is not extreme, that will sell a laptop even quicker than just a power showcase.

Bruh, the CPU Temps looks amazing. I have the MSI vector i7-12700H with RTX 3070ti version and the CPU Temps hits above 100c even with a cooling pad on when playing R6 siege. 😔

Hello, I cant decide between GE77HX and lenovo legion 7i I7 12800hx and 3070ti and Asus Scar 17 se and i9 12950hx 3070ti.
I will be using my laptop for engineering programs like Abaqus and other finite element application as well as light gaming, so which is better?
The screen size isn't my decisive factor, I care more about performance and thermals.
Also The GE77 and the Asus doesn't have advanced optimus only a mux switch, do u know if this will affect productivity negatively, like if i forgot to disable optimus every time i work on my project?

It is a crazy laptop, but at that point I just got a desktop. I wanted something portable with some great performance so ended up getting the Asus zephyrus g15 with the 3080
Why not both. One on the go and one at home. I have a powerful gaming pc; need something portable if/when I have money to travel aboard 😂

Undervolting isn’t really possible due to intel locking that down. But thermals are pretty good from what I saw from Jarrod Tech
