Obviously the FJR climbing was too wide on preparing his turn, but never the BM downhill should have crossed in front of him left side of the road. That's what made the FJR falling
It is obvious, just watch the video: the GS crossed the FJR. The GS was going down so it had the best possibility to see what was going on. But still it crossed to the path of the FJR.
Hello, Rider! Hope you're doing great! :) Love this clip! Would it be OK if we used it in a youtube video we're making and maybe share it on our social media? We'll credit you in the video and all descriptions. Thank you! :) Can you explain what happened?
Interesting one. I guess inexperience of those hairpins on both riders' part caused the accident. The FJR rider felt he needed a very wide line but seemed oblivious to the threat of oncoming traffic. The GS rider attempted to turn in to avoid a head-on collision (there was also a cyclist on the outside of the FJR which made GS man think going inside was the only option) but the manoeuvre only freaked-out the FJR rider! If you had to apportion blame, it has to lie with the FJR. Fortunately, it doesn't look as though much damage was done. We live and learn!
The glass was less disturbing when I had the camera mounted on the top of the helmet. Unfortunately, it jerked the head a lot at higher speeds. Now the camera is at the jaw. I tried to mount it to the mirror, but there was too much vibration. I have no idea how to improve camera visibility.
In my opinion. A BMW motorcycle descending wanted to give way to a Yamaha. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist riding the Yamaha was driving very uncertainly and did not notice this situation.
No, the Yamaha rider was a complete idiot. Only complete idiots lean on the side facing the valley. This is a mistake that many riders with poor riding skills make on hairpin bends. If he had leaned to the left, nothing would have happened. Apart from that, I would have just driven around the outside, but fear is always a bad advisor. I came to a halt in one of those bends on the far right, where it's steepest, and didn't fall over. I braced myself with my left leg and got back on without any problems. That's the difference between being able to ride and not being able to ride.
Sbagliare capita a tutti ma così però no dai.
Were you talking about the blue motorcyclist or the other riding downward? As I can see, the blue motorcyclist was in the process of making the wide turn and panicked because the other guy didn't slowed down or stopped all together.
The FJR driver is driving on the left. He barely misses the bike when he pushes it away with his foot. The BMW driver probably wants to avoid a collision, so he runs away to the left. The FJR driver should have stopped before the corner if it was too tight for him and he had to move into the opposite lane.
Obviously the FJR climbing was too wide on preparing his turn, but never the BM downhill should have crossed in front of him left side of the road. That's what made the FJR falling
Indeed there was space enough to go around the Yamaha.
They were both very surprised.
Obviously, but the descending guy created additional surprise by going left side of the road right in front of the climbing one.@@MotoAmateur
If you are going down you have to give pace to those coming up. And People: it is not a rece up there!
Sometimes there are such large groups of motorcycles and bicycles that you would have to stand for several minutes to let them pass.

I guess he was afraid of a head-on collision.
He should stop....

5:30 lol 😳

Left Corner stay outside max 1,5m inside the Wall! Like you drive around the Yamaha.

It wasn't very big. Only once did I have brake fluid boil. It was in Transylvania.

To mendy motorcyclist who think they are the best but they are not a bad advert for motorcyclist what i have just seen arrogant ASOS
What is ASOS?
Thats ego riding or just plain stupid. You need to stop and make sure you can go wide on any technical pass like Stelvio!

@@salvo9718 both. The blue one for not stoping. And the one coming down for now caring about the dude that went down.

That's right.
