As a not-too-invested self-taught Japanese learner, these videos are literally the best since I can just watch your videos a couple times then learn the words and revise everytime I listen to these songs. What's even better is that learning something we love (in this case, vocaloid songs) is much faster and easier. I can never thank you enough. THIS is the content that helped me the most with learning the language.
This is really cool, usually i read the lyrics in romaji just to be able to sing it, and sometimes read the translation in the wiki for the meaning and the feeling, but getting to understand word by word and learn where it comes from is amazing, you had a great idea there, and the visuals really help. Keep it up it's really great work PD: Idk if it's what you are looking for but If you wanna get more views maybe try changing the title a bit, "The meaning of God-ish is unbelievable" or something catchy, some listeners may be interested on what it says but not necesarily onto learning japanese, it's not clickbait if you deliver. And you are delivering
i was seriously slacking on my japanese studies until i stumbled upon your channel. it's a lot easier now that my hyperfixation's been attached to it lmao
Thank you so much, I always liked to know what's behind the rranslations since some can be qyite obscure but you put it in such a plain and understandable form that it becomes easy
This is the perfect video since I love this song, I love Japanese, and I want to know how to sing the song smoothly tysm! (of course, I'll probably work on the writings and meanings afterwards)
I did some double checking, I'm pretty sure the kanji/lyric for that specific line is 畢竟 ( ひっきょう ) meaning 'After all', but I think you're thinking of 卑怯 ( ひきょう) which does mean 'unfair' and is used in a line before it at 0:52
It's not too bad after some practice (not that I'm particularly good at it lol), there are always some really dense ones that take a while to write but overall it's not too bad
@@seufimeaqui9034 That's actually exactly how I started studying and why I started this channel so that's really cool! You're gonna be really good at handwriting the hiragana in っぽい by the end of it

in german "gott is tot" translates to "god is dead"

卑怯 「ひきょう」
畢竟 「ひっきょう」
That is a lot of ひきょう

what about mkdr/dscf?
I've had to give up on recommendations because I very rarely end up actually getting around to them 😔

How did you add the furigana without Karaoke timing the lyrics?
There's probably better ways to do this but I just manually add them in smaller text above the main lyrics
