Today I'm covering the post-apocalyptic solo game Wreckland Run designed by Scott Almes and published by Renegade Game Studios. In this video I'll give you an overview and gameplay to help you make an informed decision on it. The Kickstarter launches on February 8th. Thanks for watching and let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Wreckland Run takes place in a post-apocalyptic landscape known as the Wrecklands that's filled with marauders and other dangers. In this post-apocalyptic solitaire game of vehicular carnage, you choose a vehicle and driver to guide through a seven-chapter campaign, trying desperately to get supplies through to the last holdouts of civilization. Each chapter introduces new options and challenges, and the whole game can be replayed with different combinations of drivers and vehicles." *Media Inquiries:* rollingsologamer@gmail.com You can connect with the Rolling Solo community in multiple places! Thank you for the through overview and gameplay examples. This really helps understand how it all works and certainly has peaked my interest. Looks like a worthy addition to the solo series by Scott Almes
At 26:30 when you used the red 3 to repair the Automatic Reloader, shouldn’t you have rolled on the boss table, with possibly more damage than the 1 you repaired.
Hey! Thanks for checking out the video. Hope it helps you decide either way! I found the game landed in the middle in terms of complexity (similiar to Warp's Edge). See you around! :)
Thank you for the review Adam, fantastic as always. This seems like a tower defence game to me. What I was hoping for was a solo Rouge Like game. Do you have any suggestions?
Outfitting the vehicle before any action starts took around half the total time of this video. It was exhausting (not your fault, you’re just explaining), so I already know that I won’t be backing up this game.
Hey Edward! Remember, in-depth video work is never reflective of real-time gameplay. Removing explanations from the video would cut down the playtime to what’s states on the box. It’s a fast playing game!
Hmmm.... Aren't the spikes (the red bordered cards) pointing the wrong direction ? Shouldn't they be printed the other way toward the edge of the cards? 🤔
I wondered that as well but maybe in order to not waste card art space they were turned in so it’s flat against the edge of the card. Thanks for watching!
@@RollingSolo I feel like the dev may need to clarify this, the rules read kind of ambiguously. Thematically it should be the spikes pointing out, but then its not on the outside edge of the card itself
@@RollingSolo I've posted on bgg my first impressions from your play and another well known UA-camr. We'll see what the community will think about it. :) Thx for your quality content.
I am interested but I will have to see if it is worth pledging in advance or just wait for it to come to retail. Current shipping prices may favor the latter option?
Ensure on that myself. You get the lower shipping rate in the Kickstarter. Avoid shipping retail but have a markup to deal with. So it’s a gamble on a small box game like this one. It’s go the KS route if I were you. Thanks for watching!
Super informative playthrough, thank you! Def looks like they’ve ramped up the complexity in a very thematic way compared to Warp’s Edge. Am i wrong to wish for game developers to stop coming out with awesome games for a few months?!
Hey Robert! Happy to help. This one has jumped up on my list after playing it. I was very impressed. The gameplay is smooth and everything just clicks. There's always more coming. It's endless haha ;P

This game has been on my radar for a while. Thanks for sharing your gameplay!
No problem Kyaw! This one has been high on my list to check out. Glad to help! 🔥
Great overview of the game, really looking forward to this one!
Thanks SM! Glad you enjoyed it. 🔥
Love Warp's Edge so much!! Very interested to watch through this now!
Hope you enjoy it! ;D

Glad it helped! I really think so too. I'm also a big fan of the theme on this one. Jives very well with the mechanisms of the game. Cheers!
I'm going to need a Tank Girl Promo in the KS.
Very much so! Thanks for watching! 🔥

Hello Stefan! I’d have to take another look at it but I appreciate the feedback. See you around 😄
I love Scott Almes' games. I have Tiny Epic games, and Warp's Edge and I was ready to back this game but it seems way too complicated for me.

best run-through and rules explanation I've found - nice work!
Thank you! Mine just arrived as well. I love the mad max vibe of this one.
If a part blows up can you get a new part put on that spot?
I don’t believe so until you fix the spot that was completely damaged. Would need to double check that so take it with a grain of salt.

You’re welcome! 🙂
Just got my copy of this and cannot wait to do the campaign. Any advice?
ALSO THAT INTRO WAS SICK!!!
7:26 really. They made a mlp refrence?
Thanks 😏
I just got mine in the mail.
How’s the campaign going?

Dude thank you so much for making this video. What a great game with a mediocre manual.
Glad I could help you out Alex! Hope to see you around the community here. 😄
