came for checking out sparrow, stayed for the really interesting insight into how bitcoin works. keep up the great work
Thank you brother! - appreciate you sending real btc for the demo rather than glossing over the details.
Thanks! You're awesome at teaching!
Very clear instruction! Thank you!
Keep it up. I’m trying to deepen my knowledge and these videos are exactly what people need. Thank you!
Awesome, happy to hear it!
Great channel, it’s a pleasure listening to you ❤
Thank you so much!
great video, I've learned a lot 🙏🏻
I reference your vid often. I appreciate the effort. God Speed brother.
great vid and channel, love sparrow wallet too. Can you please make a video on RBF and transaction issue, thanks!
Hi Nathan, I sold 2 ordinals that I got on an Sparrow address. This Sparrow seed was loaded in Xverse wallet, thing is that Xverse also gives you regular BTC address and Stacks, separate from ordinals (taproot). Now to the point: 1 of the sales proceeds went to the regular BTC address so all good here, but the other proceeds went to the taproot address holding another ordinals. My question is, how to move that BTC from sales without spending the ordinals in that wallet in fees? I can select the UTXO that is just BTC, but not sure where the fees are being paid from. Also couldn't find how to load the regular BTC address correlated to the taproot in Sparrow, I must enter the seed phrase again? Thanks
does someone know if i need to run a specific tor tool in order to connect sparrow with my private electrum server (running on umbrelOS)?
Can you send and receive funds to Sparrow while your computer is offline?
21:44 can you do a video on just this?
Help me understand the slider in relation to mempool?
Can show how a person can set up an inscription wallet (NFT)
Can you make a video on setting up electrum private server/wallet?
thanks for the video. Do you know when receiving sats in sparrow the transaction section of the wallet shows one transaction as input and a large number of outputs among which is ours. It also shows a transaction id which is not ours. Still, when clicking on the arrow to go to the mempool explorer, you still see the same structure: one transaction id (not ours) and then a number of outputs plus a fee labeled as 'unknown'. Any idea? Thanks
Is it possible to import sparrow wallet to unisat or xverse?
Hi Nathan - sparrow wallet makes windows go crazy, first it thinks it is an unsafe .exe, then it was causing my virus software to pop off. Have you had this?
I am amazed of the amount of information available on BTC transactions. Thank you for this video, it is very helpful when learning to use Sparrow. Recently, I have an issue with Sparrow. I believe it is because I did not "broadcast" a transaction and my fund is now "unconfirmed". How do I go back and fix this?
Entre a Sparrow e a Electrum, qual carteira você acha melhor? Tem como usar essa carteira igual a Electrum criando uma chave mestra para poder visualizar somente a carteira, não permitindo transações?
I wanted to transfer funds from Sparrow to Binance. But Binance asks for the network while depositing. So, I'm not sure which network to choose BTC or SEGWITBTC? BTW my script type is Native Segwit in Sparrow.
What happens if I choose not to broadcast the transaction?
Any wallet where i can only hold my bitcoin lightning network coins like one to one only lightning network coins
Hi Tio, if I understand you correctly - Muun wallet is self-custody and interoperates with the lightning network. Or, you can run a node. Or, there are plenty of noncustodial lightning wallets like Alby or Wallet of Satoshi.
now how would i withdraw into cash?
Thank you for your service! Server selection advice off the top was missing in my first tutorial. Nostr npub?
Do you happen to know why i can't send from Sparrow wallet? My "Sign" button is grayed out!
Hmm, is Sparrow connected to the internet and a node? Bottom right corner, there’s a switch … you’ll want to make sure it’s on. That’s my guess without seeing anything.
@thebtccourse Thanks for the reply...I'm a little new self custody....I just assumed I would do the and thing you did.
My issue was, since I created my wallet with Seedsigner device, I had to use the Seedsigner to scan a qr code from Sparrow, approve it with Seedsigner, then use Sparrow to scan a qr code from Seedsigner.....viola.... then I could broadcast the transaction....... I'm migrating my funds from Ledger..... there's a learning curve.
Hey man not sure if you could give me direction I accidentally sent two ordinals to the same sparrow address. Forgot to generate new address before hand. Just trying to transfer them to Xverse wallet but don’t wanna mess anything up. Could I send them together or separate?
Hmm, I don’t know for sure. My understanding is that you’d want to send the UTXOs separately, but I don’t know much about ordinals… so, I’d get a second opinion before going with anything I said.
Hi Nathan, Could you make a video, how to create 2of3 multisig in Sparrow with 3 Seedsigners, and how to send from this wallet (say, much later) using two other HWWs (none of which is SS).
