Hence why, the big anime, with popular characters had a remodel, some got removed. Or perhaps, they just didn't have time to remodel most of them and just released it because they needed money. The reason people keep picking "curses" (speed and so on) is because they are using Macros to farm for them, therefore they just autopick the things that gives most stars and not which will get you to 50 waves
