My absolute favorite siren of all time. This one had a beautiful dual tone that I loved. Growing up in Marshall, this one sent shivers down my spine whenever there was a tornado warning. This one, and the Allertor 125 across the Maunesha river. A beautiful pair of sirens that have since been replaced. 😢
Great video! I am glad that these 1212s still exist. That 9/12 siren in the background is very audible when it points toward the camera. Is it an Allertor?
Tyler Copeland On the panel there are two ways of canceling the siren. 1: The regular cancel button that cancels the tone and winds down the siren. 2: The other way witch is to completely cut the audio signal to the speakers., hence the no wind down. All of the 1212's and other EOWS electronic sirens have both these features.
If you're in Wisconsin on August 13th, you should try to get the Milwaukee County siren test. If you need to know some locations, i have a link to a map I've made in most of my MC siren vids. No pressure though.
@tornado siren roubik Agreed, however sometime after this was recorded, the allertor got replaced by a FS 508 across the river at Fireman's Park. Marshall, WI has 4 sirens. This EOWS 1212 between a couple of houses on the corner of Farnham St & Motl St (which I'm pretty sure was removed), an inactive Red Arrow Decot at the police department, a Federal Signal STH-10 behind the Litang Family Chiropractic on 131 E Main St which I'm pretty sure is inactive & a Federal Signal 508 at Fireman's Park on W Park Dr which replaced an ACA Allertor that was located on the corner of Riverview Dr & Sleepy Hollow Ln across the lake.
I noticed that Eows 612's hi lo from 1003's solenoid problem from bsp's tornado siren madness must have been a little off because the real life eows 612 is a little lower pitched than a modulator, this as close as you can get to a modulator in the Eows series.
Nobody can ever replace my favorite siren 🗣️🔥

Don't forget their decot as well...
@ Where was that?
@@ToddReuterOutdoors it was at the police department, it was a model 12
This one held pitch flawlessly but is it just me or does it seem a bit quiet.
Finally a Siratone controller that holds its pitch ,but where the hell is the wind down?
It appears that the batteries slowly lost power throughout the test and I guess it just stopped when the test ended.
The wind down is chilling where socks go after you put them in the dryer
Is that an Allertor I hear in the background?
Yes it is but unfortunately it's now gone
Great video! I am glad that these 1212s still exist. That 9/12 siren in the background is very audible when it points toward the camera. Is it an Allertor?
Yes, also i think its 8/12 port according to the Wisconsin siren map
It was an Allertor before it got replaced, yes.
Hiccup at 2:07. Half the speakers seemed to have went out
Its been over 5 years, and it is still there
its gone now. replaced with a 508
@@warningsirensofmichio9660 i hate 508s eows are morr better
was there an allertor in the background?
Love the vid! Cool sound!
Lots of Wisconsin cities use Allertors and EOWS you I would think that the other siren was a Allertor
So that the Allertor and the EOWS 1212 aren't there anymore, I am supposing their Decot got removed, too?
@SirenTube I dont remember something not local that I commented 4 years ago. Seems my wording isn't correct in that comment either.
@SirenTube what about the STH 10?
@@tornadosirenroubik4124STH 10 on Main Street is still there.
@@tornadosirenroubik4124STH-10 is still there.
Awesome EOWS 1212 siren.
I've always thought that Siratone controllers sound extra cool, better than most electromechanical sirens even
Great sounding siren! Nice video!
Did you hear the decot at the FD go off?
You're alive!
2001scoop, W6LDS hey there
judging by the siratone controller id say this is one of the first few generations of 1212's
How loud was it?
Do I hear an Allertor? I hear a rotating 9/12 port siren
Yes, Marshall used to have an allertor before it got replaced.
Also no wind down it just cut off?
***** Ok xD
Maybe it's electric??

+Federal Thunderbolt (tornado siren channel) Really. It's in the Damm description...
All the sirens in the county have now been replaced.
@SirenTube Mostly 508s, there is still a 1212 down in southern Dane County. But otherwise there mostly gone.
@SirenTube New Glarus
@SirenTube Yea all were by the 508
where did they get the tone (wanna use it on speaker)
It's generated from the Siratone controller
What was the one in the background?
The background one sounded like an Allertor or 500 AT.
***** Cool
Do you know where the the allertor was located?
What's the actavation policy
Tornado Warning 3 Minutes, Severe Thunderstorm 3 Minutes I believe.
WOW! EOWS 1212 and allertor is loud!
@tornado siren roubik

A Mobil Directo

This siren sounds like a few sirens in Honolulu
Yep they have Modulators witch are pretty close to the same thing just a different design.
oh OK
cool!
allertor at the beginning
I heard an ACA Hurricane
No it's an allertor I think
It had a quick wind-up and Hurricanes Have the quick wind-up
So do Allertors & P-15's on 480.

Sounds like a 3t22
They're supposed to be the sound of a thunderbolt running on chopper level 7
