I think this video was just suppose to be lighthearted and fun. I saw on Twitter that there were references to a few romantic movies though - Titanic, The Notebook, and War of Roses.
The washing salon scene also made me think of Baby Driver - which kinda has a similar tone of sweetness between the characters even if their story is different
I think her world is the one falling and he is always the one who stays it matches with lyrics . Everyone is running to save himself but he stays in the chaos with her 💜

He invites her to a very nice restaurant but she doesn't like it and she keeps pushing him away because of her tough life, and because she doesn't want him to get hurt (which is why she looks a little upset at his funeral), but he keeps wanting to be in her life. (He's walking at her pace, even though she's on the train and he can't see her) He's supposedly wealthy enough to pay too much money for flowers in the middle, but he just wants to be a part of her difficult life, but unlike her, he's not used to it. Every time he tries to enter her life, something happens. But he keeps running into her life that there are a lot of disasters, and she eventually accepts him and runs into that life together.. actually i think this is very touching lyrics..Not the cliché of a rich guy turning a poor girl into a Cinderella, but a guy who goes through hardships to be there for her. I think there are so many things implied in this lyric.

Seriously loved the song, the message of the song was so romantic and alluring. This is how romantic/sexual songs should be. Sexual songs are always so toxic so when I heard this is was pleasantly surprised, well it is BTS they always make sure their songs have a good message they can share to the world.

But it does not matter what is going on in her life, or his life, he is consistent and she grounds him but also he stays devoted to her. I really like the contrast between Latto's words acting s though she owns him, and the fact he continues to have eyes only for the one that gives him 'life' in the MV. It is very possible that the song has religious references. It is not the first time with BTS. In the Map of the Soul diptych, you find them. I remember esp. into to one of the performances which in my opinion was heavily "dipped" in Greek/Christian symbolism. Their works have always had at least 3 levels of interpretation, namely literal text interpretation, literal visual interpretation, and inexplicit interpretation or interpretations. The last one has always been the most meaningful and interesting. So, it is possible that the last one is built upon religious references.
Actually most of our schools here is Christian in korea so it does not really matter also our college universities a lot of it is only for women or for men etc tho most of it are Co-ed unlike in high school/middle school……and did you hear the explicit version?
