@@drdylzee4215 I mean, it's kinda hard to explain, it's a pleasant sensation in/on your head/back of your head, sometimes it can even go down the neck, and it feels really good, I don't really know how to put it into words, sorry 😅.
All I know is that not all triggers or ASMR videos give me tingles, it's gotta be something specific, but I usually feel them frequently enough, even from videos that are technically not ASMR, it's called unintentional ASMR, and sometimes I get them in real life as well.

ASMR literally trains your brain into not being able to sleep without noise but it's so hard to sleep with your own thoughts constantly rampaging within your skull.
I found this quite a problem, but I kind of trained it away. I also get tingles from visual asmr so I started watching more of those and now I watch them with the sound off. I fall asleep after like 2 minutes of those whereas with audible asmr I sometimes wake up again from a louder trigger. Might be worth a shot

@Hunter Norton You have probably already researched this, but in case you haven't it sounds like you have exploding head syndrome. Which would put you into a group of sleep disorders, this group being parasomnias. This syndrome leads some doctors (leads some because they have to recognize it first, doesn't mean always) to believe it is related to stress or anxiety.
In your case however I encourage the use of ASMR! And maybe you learned a thing or two ;) .
@Hunter Norton I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you've found an outlet that is ASMR to help. Don't worry, I understand what you're saying, I'm no psychologist nor do I have any information about your inside life but there could be some unresolved stress in your head.
And maybe ASMR is what helps with that. Which again is good, I'm glad you've found it to help with sleep.
@Hunter Norton Yes! I experience the same thing you mentioned sometimes. For me it's a balloon bursting or something crashing to the ground. I immediately wake up only to realize that none of it was real.

Fidget toys existed for a long time, they just weren’t sold as toys. They started as therapy tools for special needs kids.
I have severe adhd, and when they tried to give me fidget toys I would only focus on them, so I never understood why they eventually ended up as toys.
yeah, and that’s why they’re banned in some schools; it’s because they’re marketed as toys. it makes it super hard for people with adhd like me who need something to fiddle with to help focus on a task or a lecture. idk, i just wish schools were more understanding with fidgets

@@egorsdeimos3523 I've heard fidget spinners are more for people with autism as it helps them focus and calm down. As another person with ADHD I've found that fidget cubes work way better since it's all about touch with them and you don't need to look at them to feel their effects
