I have a Rainpoint timer on my in-ground garden beds, currently, it's all just on soaker hoses. My last water timer broke this summer, I spent two weeks without it and finally got sick of having to remember to turn on the water. I got one of the cheaper systems, but it still has Bluetooth and I can schedule the timer from my phone. I never want to not have a timer again, my plants are much happier when the temps get over 100. I do hand water my containers for now, that might be a project for next year, setting up actual drip irrigation tubing on everything.

Any timer that you can set via an app is super convenient. I couldn’t believe how much time i was saving until I got the irrigation in. Hope you get your next project done by spring. Containers dry out fast. I was especially thankful on those extreme hot days when I can get them well watered without going outside. :D

Be sure to use plant safe mulch... some of the really cheap wood mulch has literally painted wood and not labeled for growing plants. Nursery safe is a term that is used.

With some 150 odd trees, bushes, vines, etc., plus seasonal gardens....I found self spending most of my gardening time just watering, automating 80% of it makes a huge difference.
Often there will be some problems with drip connections separating shortly after assembled but I've found those almost entirely go away after first weeks, the connections sort of self tighten over time. Some emitters are not durable to sunlight and may fail after a yr or so if exposed (shaded ones last much better) so look for UV resistant, or just black emitters, not as easy to locate but last much better.

6:00 those bottles could be connected to auto drip system too.

I'd also suggest 'wine bottle' Ollas. They're a ceramic spike that holds a wine bottle, similar to the water bottle dispenser at 3:53. I think the same company that made the larger Ollas you have makes these. If not, Sarvodaya Institute may have a resource. Lastly, I've seen the wine bottle Ollas for sale on ETSY. Cảm ơn bạn, xinh đẹp
