@@dolgijoze Simon pegg plays the character of "Gary King" in the movie "The World's End" with nick frost and others. Directed by Edger Wright and it's part of the "Cornetto Trilogy"
He may dislike it if the guest isn't giving back worthy answers, either generic ones or avoiding the question in some way. Also, if it's not been the best interview so far, he may rush it to get it over and done with because it's a regular thing that he has to do.
My introduction to Simon Pegg came through British comedies such as Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Both were brilliant. He is brilliant. I will forever love anything he’s involved in.
Just realised simon pegg is battling alcoholism and depression (not because of this clip but older clips on youtube) like I am now. Thank you simon, thank you for being open and honest about you. You are my inspiration to live my life as best I can now, today, tomorrow and forever.

1:30 I was thinking the same thing before the question was asked. Like Togo the lead dog in Nome, Alaska. What was he thinking before crossing the Sound? It must have been overwhelming being in that element of high adrenalin.
It’s always weird when people say Americans don’t get irony or sarcasm... They gave the world South Park, Simpsons, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, etc... it’s all throughout their culture. But his observation was very astute about daily life.
"If a helicopter stalls it drops." *WRONG* Autorotation, it's a thing. Basically the air pushing up as the helicopter falls pushes the rotors around which in turn push air back down allowing it to essentially glide down. It's actually safer than a engine stalled winged craft because it doesn't require forward velocity to work.
Edgar Wright doesn't do sequels, he said that the films are like a journey with a start and an end. How can you have a sequel when the journey has ended
What does he mean 'our teeth aren't as bad as they used to be'?! 'Our' teeth (collectively speaking) were never bad, we just don't put such an emphasis on 'perfect' teeth. That perfection looks fake imo. Spot on about irony though.
I suppose it depends on person to person? Not being American and interacting with Americans on the net, I feel most of the time Americans don't assume/consider something as sarcasm or look at a comment ironically. Usually there had to be indications of a comment/statement being sarcastic or ironic. But hey, if you personally like using irony, you'd use it. be it on the net or irl.
He has such a heartwarming presence.
Seems like a real solid guy
yes he's very humble
- Simon Pegg in ten years.
- I hope so.
Perfect answer! =))
I will forever love this man. He is so kind and gives off such positive energy, regardless of what he's been through.
oh go cry me a river
What has he been through?
Larry King interviews Gary King!
Gary King?!

People say Larry hates this segment and he is just trying to rush it but this video proves that he actually likes it if the guest is cool

who cares if that dinosaur hates it or not
he can be van Gogh
Exactly what I thought
No.
My god, you're right.
+BFKC Yes.
Yeah, all you gotta do is get him to cut his ear off. Or a section, whatever really occurred.

Simon's statement about the differences in use of irony between Americans and Brits is spot. on.
Very down to earth
Compare/contrast of “UK irony” vs “USA irony” was really deep.
He wrote a whole article on it before. It’s quite good.
Simon is a cool guy!
amazing human being! Love him
I love his explanation on irony.
Amazing actor
That las response was just pure GOLD 🥇
"I policed the pool with maximum intensity" Thats for the resume.
Simon Pegg as a lifeguard needs to be made into a film.... Perhaps with Nick Frost and directed by Edgar Wright.
spaced one of the funiest british tv shows ever
He was spot on about the difference between yanks and the brits
-Larry- Gary King
King ga -r- y
Simon is the man :)
I love him . Watching this though, made me love him even more.
I Love Simon ❤❤

Larry is still kicking ass, right on sir!
Such an (emotionally) intelligent person!
But dogs can look up....
The last answer made me like this video....
I just can't understand why anyone would hit Dislike on this.
Probably cause it went too quickly. I didn't hate the questions. I would've liked it if there was time for more detailed answers.
he seems very insightful and very nice
"Simon Pegg in 10 years."
"I hope so."
He should play Van Gough
I would love to have Mr Pegg answer what were the best and worst days on the sets of the film "Paul".
I wish he talked about his presence on Doctor Who.
SHAUN!!
Larry King and Gary King! Haha anyone else notice this
Is there a full episode of this? I only see the clips. :(
1:30 I was thinking the same thing before the question was asked. Like Togo the lead dog in Nome, Alaska. What was he thinking before crossing the Sound? It must have been overwhelming being in that element of high adrenalin.
He should portray on screen Vincent van Gogh
Okay but like. My dad is legit if Simon Pegg had a long lost Australian brother
2:33 for a special gooey treat!
He'd be a good Mark E. Smith in a few years.
...is there ever going to be Paul 2?
Your name is Lorenzo? 😂😂

Liked him. Seems to be a nice very perceptive fellow.
First Celebrity crush: Mentions Carrie Fisher with out any hesitation.. ;)
Amazing
Love his English accent 😊
He needs to play Van Gogh fast
Simon pegg can play Lenin for sure
No i don't mean the one from beetles.
You got red on you

Perfect description of Brits 😄
Gary king meets Larry king

Just learned that they call them swimming bathes in England. The more u know..😳
Hmm not sure about this, I have heard them called that but to be honest we call them Swimming Pools.
maybe the brilliant Simon Pegg is trying to make "swimming bathes" happen..lol
You could be right! :)
I'm British and we say 'pool'
Also as a fellow UK'er it's either swimming baths or swimming pools, they are interchangeable depending on where you are but it's never 'bathes'.
He'd be good at Henry VIII.
Time for Shawn of the dead 2. Make it happen.....please?
Simon joked once about this. He told that named the sequel "From Dusk Till Shawn".
A Shaun of the dead sequel would be such a shit idea
What about paul 2
Edgar Wright doesn't do sequels, he said that the films are like a journey with a start and an end. How can you have a sequel when the journey has ended
Shush you! coming over here with logic and reason, shame on you!

Spot on about irony though.
God is our only love
a stalled helicopter doesn't just drop it can glide down.
good luck with that
@@nicknewman7848 i can assure you they do
He’s such a fucking cool down-to-earth person. Wow.
0:33 You can tell he's been spending too much time in America. His accent slipped into U.S mode for a split sentence.
Your gift for acting Come from God be greatful to oir creater
American teeth are terrible now lol
When he explained irony and how Americans don’t really use it. I feel like we use irony in the internet more often than in person, right?
He didn't say Americans don't really use it, he said they don't use it socially like the UK does, i.e. person to person.
lwaves which is why I said Americans use it on the internet.

Not really an interview if it's just asking a bunch of random questions on a list and moving on instead of discussing things.
exactly, which is why this is just a segment from the full interview.
What on Earth has happened to his accent?
Changing your hair and facial hair from ginger to another colour is more offensive to me than black face.
Larry King...most disinterested host
Were porn actresses told do what you love as a job.
larry king fkn sucks at interviews.
He is so boring.
boo you
Liked him. Seems to be a nice very perceptive fellow.
