I’ve been arguing with him a bit, saying that Detroit certainly have experts on statistics and that they obviously have come to a different conclusion than him or they wouldn’t re-sign him. I dont know fellas, it doesn't sound like hes coming back to me. The only thing he really shared was he wants a contract with longer term. Going from Chicago, NY to Detroit. So he wants a longer term. But hes also keeping his cards close to the vest. I would love to have this guy back, even at a longer term. @@marcharris4176Absolutely they will.
@@ZacharyH-wi3ws I guess all we can do is wait and see but I don't see yzerman giving him an extended contract like he expects.
@@marcharris4176Oh I thought you were referring to a top contender. Yeah I agree I don't think he is coming back as a wing unfortunately.
The arms are open in Chicago!! Cmon back Showtime.
Sounds like a guy who is leaving
Kane is always a Hawk! Three Cups with the Hawks.
If he doesn’t want stupid money I’d say re-sign-him, but we got Mo and Raymond contracts to worry about.
Come back home Patrick!
Where’s that guy who comes into the comments and he has this biggest hard on for Kane he truly despises him. 🤣. He comes up with this stat where he’ll post the win/loss stat with and without Kane in the lineup each and every time. Thinking that it justifies not keeping Kane around or he did fuck all for the team while he was here.
I’ve been arguing with him a bit, saying that Detroit certainly have experts on statistics and that they obviously have come to a different conclusion than him or they wouldn’t re-sign him. His reply was that those experts were no good. I asked him if he were an expert. He wouldn’t call himself that, but had done “some research”. And he said that he has been right before about stuff. Must mean he’s right now also?
I dont know fellas, it doesn't sound like hes coming back to me. The only thing he really shared was he wants a contract with longer term. Going from Chicago, NY to Detroit. So he wants a longer term. But hes also keeping his cards close to the vest. I would love to have this guy back, even at a longer term. If we can give Holl a 3yr deal, we can give this dude a 3yr deal. But how he said "iv made alot of good memories playing here." Im kinda paraphrasing. But it doesn't sound good, i dont think he will come back. I hope im wrong.
I also thought he wanted a longer deal and that SY wouldn’t give him that. Fortunately he agreed to a one year deal 🥳
If he walks because we are stuck paying Ras and Copp big dollars then WTF?!! We need to keep Kaner on the Wings. He'll be even better with a full offseason of pain-free conditioning. He wants to regain explosiveness and I am positive that he can improve on that. We're a better team with him in so many ways. Sure hope he returns.
Sounds like he's not coming back to the wings
Hes probably gunna wait for a offer from the Hawks then see what the Wings offer and decide which one pays more
Uncle Fester let the second line die when he moved the Cat to the first line. Kane had no support and was left on an Island by himself. That line needs a winger who can score and a playmaking center if Kane decides to stay.
Kanes lack of speed crippled Cat. Pat fed a nice initial pass but had trouble becoming available through the neutral zone from my view.
@@daussamp8054 Gordie Howe was not a fast skater either and Kane will be in the HOF alongside Number 9.
Totally different Era. Hockey was brutal back in the day. Believe me. I've knocked out 3 guys and have been knocked out 3 times. Brutal
@@johngwozdz8456kane assisted on only 6 of debrincats goals all season. The last few games debrincat had as many goals as he had in 2 months with kane
@@JarradBruessel32🤣😂😂
Man, really not feeling good about what he said about coming back.
First interview all season where he's not wearing a Red Wing cap.
Good eyes
To be fair, none of the players have any team gear on in these interviews. I’d imagine most guys probably don’t wear any team gear outside the rink lol sorta corny
@@dustinmacdougall24🤣😂
Seider wasn't wearing one either lol.
Funny how his hat is logo free
I didnt understand his reasons on choosing to play for this team. I know hes won 3 cups but detroit was never a contending team this year. Very impressed with Lucas taking a huge step this year though
I like him in Detroit...don't like him hopping around to different teams
Sounds like he ain’t coming back. He was great. Definitely deserves a bag but probably too high of a price for the wings. Multi year deal for $8+ mil a year for him is asking a bit much. Don’t blame Yzerman for whatever he does
I bet money he gets an extension, yzerman would be stupid to get rid of him
Well, it was fun having Patrick Kane with the Red Wings as a big Red Wings fan as I am, but he’s not gonna re-sign. I think he’ll go to the New York Islanders.
Wanna bet he resigns, yzerman would be stupid to let him go after the chemistry he brings here
I’m telling you, Patrick Kane is not gonna resign with the Red Wings he’s going to go somewhere else
@@jamesvitale6666Fortunately you were wrong 🥳
He’s not gonna be back. Night and day difference between the way he and Perron spoke.
I bet money he’ll get extension, yzerman would be stupid to let him go with all the chemistry he brings to this team
@@cameronfranke8566 It's not up to Yzerman. Kane very clearly is neutral on the topic and holds no loyalty to Detroit. Which is fine.
I really hope Kaner stays.
He is not coming back. You can just tell
He needs to retire a wing
100%
He’s gone. He really needs to resign with Chicago. I loved his time with the wings and I’m glad he proved me wrong. I hope he stays healthy.
definitely not going back there. they kicked him and Toews out. there is serious mutual hatred now imo. people talked about Toews not going to the return game/Chelios night, that's why not i think. Kane only went to that game bc he was playing in it and had to.
Wow, btw, where's Uncle Fester's end of season news conference??? Guess he's hiding quietly behind the players as he did all season on the bench. Please Steve, fire him. Bring on Fedorov, or even Barube🙏🙏🙏
What is wrong with you?
Need to Extend Kane, Raymond and Seider other UFAs can go. Maybe Perron if he takes a 1 year
He won't be back :(
I bet money he does, yzerman would be stupid to let him go with the type of chemistry he brings
When they split him cat up it was the end of 88 in Detroit! Shame
I'm willing to bet if Uncle Fester stays as the coach, P.K. walks.
Im willing to bet Kane gets an extension regardless, yzerman would be stupid to let him walk with all the chemistry he brings to this team
5x5
Kane and Toews are coming home next year. I wish. I really do
Sounds like he doesnt want to come back
