Going over the top in Mid Wales! - walk, talk and steak!

- If you visit Fforest Fields, do try to head up the hills for a real Mid Wales experience! Although a bit warm for me this time, I head up over the hills during the evening for a bit of chat and, the next evening I cook a nice steak and noodles for tea!
Some may not agree with some of my views, but that's the way it goes!
For some reason, the audio didn't record for the steak cooking, hence the music and I had to add the frying sounds during edit (realistic though - that steak sizzled like a good 'un!).
That steak looked delicious 😋
It was nice! Just season and sear then sliced up and cooked in butter (nice to add some garlic to the butter, but had none with me this time). Went well with the fried onions, noodles and sweet chilli sauce.
Another brilliant Vid Gary. Love (and totally agree with) your comments about the Brecon Beacons at 6:35. Keep on keeping on - The mighty 104.
Just chucked this one together mainly so I don't forget the whole trip! Anything govt. stick their noses into seldom end well! Cheers.
Nice relaxed ramble this one, lovely sunset too. Even though it’s not the channel for radio, maybe worth showing what you do bring along and antennas etc 👍
I chat to myself all the time anyway, so I might as well record some of it and upload it to YT! Videos like these hardly get any views, but they're like a video diary and if I don't record a trip, I've a tendency to forget it ever happened, so worth doing! Should be heading over to the Brecon Beacons in September, so some radio action back again soon! Cheers.
Good man!! It's a beautiful part of the world, and I think you might need to move there!?! I most certainly intend to move there, so no doubt we'll cross paths at some point bud.
It's lovely over there and I do feel at home there (as can be seen by the repeated visits!). There are plans to pepper the area with solar farms, wind turbines and pylons (plans that are being resisted by the locals), so we must make the most of what we've got there before it's gone. In addition, with possible relaxed green belt planning regs and good internet connectivity now, I can see a large increase in the population of mid Wales soon as many make the move over from the English Midlands. If I was a younger and had less responsibilities, I think I'd head to Shetland Isles, Faroe Isles, Iceland or similar. Cheers.
