I've just seen the series and I thought it was VERY well written, superbly acted and high quality filmed. Yes the Partisan Poles were portrayed as antisemitic, why not? Some Germans were anti-Nazi; not all Japanese were suicidal Kamikaze, some Americans are racists. I believe its an insult to the viewers intelligence if all films were kept politically correct.

At the beginning of war the whole Germany was at the same side as Hitler. Goods theft at Poland and other countries and forced laborers were welcomed at Germany. Cities were bombed and civilians were killed by regular army, not some "nazis" or "ss-mans". It's so sad, but it's true.

1. What was the reason of Versailles? Germany was "saint" in WW1 and before when participated Poland with 2 other occupiers? 2. People who voted for NDSAP and Hitler knew this party program and Hitler's ideology. "Mein Kampf" was a popular lecture in those times.
why not? because this film is a historical film, not sci-fi. So correct proportions should be kept. Because this film will be displayed in countries where people have no knowladge about WW2 in Poland.AK was not a group of antisemites from the forest.It was probably most brave WW2 army who were fighting with Nazi Germany and Soviets until the end of WW2 and even after the WW2 with communists. AK formed "Żegota" organization for heping Jews. There wasn't such underground army as AK in any country.

Not completely true, world war 2. started because France and Britain declared war on Germany, because Germany had a small regional conflict with Poland for Westprussia, the "corridor". No british-french declaration, no world war. Germany never wanted to attack the western europeans, only the east.
