Except that you DO understand it. As your last line says, "But hey, that's just me," which is your opinion, based on your taste. That's fine and it shows that you do understand what opinion is from your POV. To say you don't understand why is effectively saying you don't understand what opinion is or why people differ from your opinion. :-)
@@BIG_CLARKY It's very easy to grasp, I'm pointing out the contradiction in the OP's post. They say they don't understand it but then go on to show that they do. It's all about differing opinion. :-)

That is a pretty good question, this specific shaderpack is still in development, but knowing the other shaders Sonic Ether has developed, it is very likely that it will have dynamic lights in the future. On the other hand, the way this shader handles lighting is pretty different from all the other ones, so maybe it's harder to implement? For now, I don't think dynamic lights can be used at the same time as this shader, but maybe it will include that feature in the future.

Edit: E3 hasn't worked either. Is there some other version of Optifine I should update to?
What is your hardware set up
Konrad Czajkowski my hardware setup? Well it’s a gaming laptop, using an Nvidia graphics card. I can get more details later, but I don’t think that’s the cause.
@@lugergre well I think a normal gaming laptop won't be enough for this.
Try updating all the drivers? If they're all up to date then try reinstalling the game.
Ok so will this become available to non patreon supporters one day? And will this be possible on newer version of mc someday or is it just not possible?
Thanks for the tutorial. :)
optifine link not working.
Can u please update the link
Thank you for pointing that out! I have fixed the link.

WOW ok i actually could not hear that you where french in your accent at all! Best french english speaker ever!
This is why i bought an RTX 2080 TI just for this shader pack

it isn't using the ray tracing cores. you can run it equally good on non-RTX cards
u dont need rt cores its a shader simulation

What did u use to get the window explorer and context menue sooooo good lookin?

Someone could help me? I tried those shaders and also I put the optifine configuration correctly, but when I enter the game (without mods) this happens to me: imgur.com/a/lSSvUfe . I don't have any idea of why that happens .-. .
I am not exactly sure what causes this, or how to fix it, I've noticed several other people with the same issues. Are you using an M series GPU? The issue might come from there, I don't know if they are supported. Try pressing F3 + R, when in game.
Yes, I'm using a NVIDIA GEFORCE 920M GPU
RTX Graphics cards: *Am I a joke to you?*
yes
can you pls help me cause the i use the pack to make the iron block shine but in my computer is not shining
What version of Minecraft and Optifine are you using? With what texture pack?
How to really get ray tracers:
1. Load minecraft
2. close your eyes. walk outside.
3. done
How did you get your iron blocks to look that way? Mine have lines running through them on default improved PBR.
I run an RTX 2070
I updated my drivers from 4.19 to 4.30 and this issue appeared. It's NVIDIA's drivers I think. I also upgraded from 1070 to 2080ti, so it might be RTX doing weirdness, but I'm pretty sure it's drivers
@@goldenblood9316 good point, I run an RTX 2070 so possibly my card. I''ll edit
@@GoreGunn did you ever solve this or was it drivers? cause i have the same issue
@@gilessharratt8177 sadly no, but i belive it to be the fact that my card is the new RTX series, looking into the latest post of SEUS 7.1 on patreon it says that RTX cards are getting the most problems. Sadly, nothing to do about it for the time being

Just to clarify before I turn my pc into a toaster. This can run on a Ryzen 5 2600 with gtx 1660 gaming x by msi?

Oh dear another money-hungry producer (not you)
Do you have a written list? many of the programs you mention, I am unfamiliar with, and you sped quite quickly through there names.
Doesn't work on AMD? Oh yea smart guy, well lets see what happens when I run it in Linux. Ok, it loads up with some invalid errors and everything looks like there's a Disco party and I can't find the disco ball. Great, so the shader pack does not conform to spec/is broken. It isn't just that AMD's OpenGL is bad on Windows but that Nvidia's drivers don't follow the OpenGl spec exactly, which results in broken but functional drivers. This is what happens when Nvidia owns 80% of the market. Their broken OpenGL, their rules.

In the beginning of the video how did you get the shadows to look like that? For me blocks do cast shadows in dimly lit spaces when there's a light source behind them but said shadows look a bit more subtle compared to yours
I just bought an AMD RTX 580 wtf
Me too, but don't worry. Drivers will be optimised probably.

This shading mod really needs to be included in future builds of Minecraft as an option. It is worthy of the effort. Stunning to look at.
Even Optifine is not included by default yet.
But I get your point :-)

*laughs in poor*
Homeless Turret yeah anyone got a link to the mod? Really who tf pays for minecraft anything.
I have RTX 2060 and when I use SEUS PTGI I get lines that look like tearing but my game plays at 60fps and with other shaders I have no issues. Any way of fixing this?

Thank you very much. I've been looking for an install video for quite some time.
I don't understand why everyone likes the super omega detailed shaders. Realistic shading does not mix well with square poly. Looks like a bad unity game.
But hey, thats just me
Except that you DO understand it. As your last line says, "But hey, that's just me," which is your opinion, based on your taste. That's fine and it shows that you do understand what opinion is from your POV. Try looking at it from their POV, other people differ on that taste and opinion, just like how some prefer vanilla MC with no resource packs.
To say you don't understand why is effectively saying you don't understand what opinion is or why people differ from your opinion. :-)
@@lwaves What are you on about
@@BIG_CLARKY It's very easy to grasp, I'm pointing out the contradiction in the OP's post. They say they don't understand it but then go on to show that they do. It's all about differing opinion. :-)

It's a theme! Unofficial, but it works quite well. It's called matte, I found it on DeviantArt

Does this video need to be updated? I can't get it to work?
Yeah this video is outdated, there's a more recent video on my channel about PTGI E6 but even that one is not up to date. Major changes are coming soon for the shaders, once they are official I'll make another guide that covers everything.

Also having the same issue here
@@someusername1872 hi, I think I found a solution, so thought id put it here incase it works for you too.
when I launched the game for the first time it said it needs java (ofc) and it took me to the java download page. what I didn't know, is that the version it recommended was the 32bit version. this fucked up a bunch of stuff. it messes with memory in the default game, and also seems to break a lot of mods. so, I recommend you uninstall your current java version and manually find the 64bit version (java 8 works, but I see a lot of people recommending version 7). this solved soooo many issues at once and gave a large performance increase. it also enabled more features (like doubling possible view distance). heres a tut I found incase you need it. I hope this helps you (or someone else) ua-cam.com/video/tIjzhw-EgsA/v-deo.html
@@PeskyNgon Interesting. Not sure why they would recommend the 32 bit version, I'll check it out
@@someusername1872 hope it works for you. the other solution ive found is apparently some GPU drivers are bugged in Minecraft, so if the java thing dosnt work maybe try chaging to an older/newer driver

Is the dynamic lights feature going to be included once the shader is complete? or can i make it work with dynamic lights mod
I seem to have a bit of a problem. when i have a torch in my hand it wont light the area around me. i know other seus shader packs have this feature. it is a problem on my pc or is it just not supported with this version?
How come the lapis isn't glowing or iron reflecting?
Pretty amazing it looks like a completely different game!
My hat is off to you sir! Very intuitive video, thank you.
Does having an RTX card provide any benefit to prefomance with this on? Or have absolutely 0 effect
which version of minecraft is supported by the shader? does it got far back as 1.7?
