Anytime a broker is talking, you're not getting true and accurate information, you're getting information to entice you to purchase.

The boat was at the Miami boat show. Turks and Caicos is 600 miles, Bermuda 500 miles give or take a few. Bimini 60 miles. Not sure of your question.

That solar panel replacement won't cost 7k... 2 or 3 at the most... And that's 400watt panels... There are only 4 of them... ✌🏽

@@thebritishboatguy3130 great video... I love Greenline Yachts... But that price is too high... It can be done for much cheaper price... Just want to keep the audience updated with accurate info... I'm currently building a solar right now... Trust me

MagnumGaming I agree, unfortunately most boat builders mark up the cost of items significantly. I cannot comment on Greenline but they have a fabulous eye for practicality and making complex systems integrate beautifully from the ground up. I know other manufacturers that are not so competent under real use. Thank you for the info. Please continue to post and feel free to post any useful info.

Good effort but instead of hybrid there should be more solar & batteries with perhaps a range extender. Wow come on no generator but you have diesel engines. We have moved way past the Prius stage and boats should be more like Tesla by now. $6,000 to $7,000 for 6 solar panels - there is someone I would not do business with! What a load of crap.

Babis G unfortunately thanks for your comment motor-cruisers require significantly more power than an automobile unless they are very slow displaying hulls that would be more akin to river use where electric boats as an example are getting more popular. Anyone wanting a boat than can be used offshore or for cruising would doubtful at today’s level of technology ever rely on a purely electric boat, particularly in any kind of weather. Also electricity and water do not mix very well. I for one would not dream of the idea. However Bill Gates is having a hydrogen powered mega yacht built. This seems to the answer but the technology is not in anyway mainstream as yet. We do however look the future and maybe one day soon an true alternative solution will be available.
