It is similar but so much better! Mega Trix has a pass through to allow for tripod mounting, more animations and improved optics.

I have a pair of mega trix that I used for ages! I would have them in sound mode putting a wide display behind the band. It is a great effect that is easy on the eyes. Unfortunately they are getting old and some of the leds have failed. Also unfortunately there is nothing on the market that does what these do. If Chaucer comes out with mega trix 2 I will be standing in line to purchase a pair.

We're not sure how bright the Hyper Gem is, but Mega Trix is very bright. Your best bet is to visit your local dealer to see one in action!

How about an updated version of the Fallout with a bit more pizzaz, like patterns/chases within its moonflowers? That'd look awesome with its tripled rotation. :)

I wouldn't recomend using the par can lighting above the light as they are two diff effects and both tale away from eachother...its a great light and id recomend pairing it with a set of chauvet j fives, lx10's, or with the chauvet vues..... it will give an amazing air effect through smoke paired with other moonflower or lasers but find the par cans take away half your show if you use them.... great light chauvet id recomend it to anyone looking for an amazing light for any event.....djchubbz.....

Moonflower lights would be so much better if they projected geometric shapes that looked like something from Designers Republic. Think WipeOut, the hovercraft game--that kind of style! Or illuminati symbols. Then Katy Perry's team would buy heaps of em! Anyway, now that laser video projectors are coming into market, can't wait to see how they get utilized for discos.
