You're welcome! We bought the same one, and when you look at it, it is not obvious exactly how you are supposed to use it. So once we worked it out we decided to make a video to help other people.
Ah, scissors definitely have that classic appeal! But hey, if you ever find yourself in a tape emergency, remember, the tape dispenser is there to save the day! 😄

I think the tab on one side of the lever might be to hold the lever open with your thumb. Of course, I might be wrong..
