As a native born Mexican (City of Puebla), I’m very happy for my birth nation, the people have spoken (hopefully) and they chose who they wanted to lead them. Many “firsts” but I could care less about that. As long as this person is qualified and up to the task, that’s all that should really matter. Congrats to her on her win. México has been getting lower unemployment rates, especially since they have started electing people of that Morena Political Party. They've also started getting lower unemployment rates ever since started electing more leaders in the government of the female gender, so all those who say that females aren't suited for leadership positions like this are completely wrong, because they're very successful in so many countries. Having more females leaders in the government whether it be a Governor, Senator, or whatever it is, is the way to go, but good male leaders will always have their place too, and same goes for leaders who are trans, or non binary, they all have their place in the government, unless we're talking about countries where stuff like that are still illegal.

The only reason Mexico has lower unemployment rates is because half of Mexicans are now living in the USA getting our jobs and money and Americans can no longer get them even though we do our jobs better that is why we built the better country, all due to this so-called trade.
As a Mexican citizen I voted for Claudia Sheinbum cause of her proposals and notice that her ideas are really good in matters like science and technology, more jobs to keep building new infraestructure, keeping the welfare programs for the elderly, handicapped people, low income students, etc and more. In regards of the cartels is very simple, if in the United States the government puts in jai for 10 years all the gang members and drug addicts then automatically the cartels would disappear in Mexico since it wouldn't be no more drug consumers.

For example, you are an U.S. citizen, you have been a U.S. citizen all your life, but for any reason you find yourself living abroad in another country. Sure, you applied for residence in that country and you are living a good life abroad. But unless you actually resigned to your U.S. citizenship and actually resigned to all of your U.S. rights, only then you actually loose your right to vote on U.S. elections. no it's not. it's a simple concept of nationality, if you're a mexican national you get to vote in every election regardless of where you currently live. it's not like mexicans who live abroad don't have any interest in choosing the right politicians for mexico, they might still have many relatives living there, so their lives would be impacted if the diaspora in question couldn't vote.
