Side splice- finishing rope mats

I would highly recommend putting on a constrictor knot right where the side splice will go in so that the rope won’t unlay farther than you want it to.

Hey!
A proper fid would be nice, but alas, I do not own one. I use a braiders fid and the marline spike when needed. It would indeed be handy!
