Beta Cessions: Demos & Rarities brings together a fan-focused collection of 26 songs, many of which have gone previously unreleased. Such mixes include early demo versions of "Switchback" with never-before-heard lyrics, as well as early demos with alternate arrangements and musical production for "Afraid This Time," "The Last Firstborn," "Stay With Me" (Unlikely) and "Uncrowned." Other unreleased versions of tracks include an 'electronic-instrumental-mix' of "Symbiont" and a Karaoke version of "So Sorry To Say" featuring the instrumental version the song, but with backing vocals included.
Beta Cessions: Demos & Rarities delivers on the rarities side as well, brining full digital release to previously released for streaming services, such as the 2001 alternate mixes of "Switchback" (mixed by Ben Grosse) and "Stay With Me" (Unlikely) (mixed by Scott Humphrey & Frank Gryner). The album also includes many of the rare 2000 'Detroit' mixes, including the tracks "Switchback," "Afraid This Time," "Under My Feet," and "So Sorry To Say." Beta Cessions: Demos & Rarities also delivers the first ever digital release of the 3 original 1999 demos released on the Celldweller Limited Edition EP in 2000 along with Klayton's electronic focused tracks "Kemikal" and "Beginning of The End."

I love how despite this being an early demo, it's probably the closest one to the final version of Switchback. Plus I love these demo and beta compilations in general because it's really interesting seeing how much a song can change and evolve over time, lyrically and musically.
Also, was kinda hoping to see the more of the lyrics from the Switchback remix compilation here, but ah well. Guess we'll never hear them in a proper musical context.
you could say after testing other variatonns he "switchback"ed to the first demo
@@Elynescence sadly. 2001 rock version was WAY BETTER
Every version of this song is just wonderful to be honest!
I'm hearing these demos for the first time, even though some of them have been up for years. I am really f... damn amazed at what how much thought is put in to some, if not all songs. That's why I love Klayton's music.
Love how this sounds like a mix of the Final version with another demo used in Deadrising 2 + Off The Record
That’s the 2000 versions
I FUCKING LOVE YOU MAN, this music gets me going so much
Switchback is really cool. i could listen randomly any version, always cool.
I can really hear transition from Circle of Dust to Celldweller in these old tracks.
Fadeaway was originally a demo from Circle of Dust. Listen to Dust 29 from Circle of Dust - Disengage (Deluxe Edition) (Remastered 2016). It's either from 1997 or 1998, I believe.
I love this early version so much.
Where are all the Cellmates at? The comments are empty. Anyway, tbh this has gotta be my favorite version. i love it. Give you the feel of the Debut album version, combined with the 1999 late demo, Detroit 2000, and 2001 versions. All and all this together, is just, awesome, love this song.
*wonderful*
Man its wild hearing the early demo, still phenomenal! I love the dozens of versions of this that exist
Yesss. Awesome.
Aww dude. This is awesome! Would love it if you could give a concert at Roskilde festival 2018! Promise I will be all the way up front without a shirt on during the whole show! :D
Finally I was waiting for this video so I comment on it that this is my favorite song on the album !
thanks, boss! would love to hear all the various (unreleased) versions of this song!
It's so lonely here :o
It is, woah... how odd
Mine Antoiya I don't think anybody knows that these songs have been uploaded to the playlist yet. Last time I checked the playlist, it only had two songs. Then I check it again today to see that all of the songs from the album are here.
Actinium28 I'm really late to the party... I go through my notifications list on my phone for all of my videos and songs. This one only popped in there yesterday, and it took me a bit to catch myself up.
🤘🏾
This demo is incredibly awesome. Would it be sacrilidge to say I like it a little better than the original release?
I like every version!
Same here.
2001 is my favorite for the screamy chorus
a lot more greater then the original version of the song
