YIYD- The story of success

YIYD is a remarkable story of success in the field of youth empowerment and community development. Established in 2015 in Smolyan, Bulgaria, YIYD has grown to include over 120 diverse volunteers, working to create a social symbiosis within the region. The organization boasts an award-winning track record, including being named the "Best Voluntary Organization of the Year" in 2020. YIYD serves as an official Eurodesk for the region and has established a youth space designed after the Finnish model, one of the first in Bulgaria. It is a hub for non-formal education, expert meetings, and international exchanges. YIYD has proven its expertise in youth work and stands as a thriving example of how committed individuals can drive meaningful change in their communities.
