That Germany portrait bowl was really pretty. Mom loves the old portrait porcelain pieces. I used to have a big collection of the Old Spice shaving mugs. They were sold when I moved here with mom. I still like them, though. Those Halloween Yankee Candle charm scents would look good hanging on the limbs of the ghost/cemetery display/assemblage 😉😁 That clear glass pitcher, at 17:13, next to the state drinking glass you picked up, looked to be a really early one. Possibly late C18. That tree topper was well worth saving. Some epoxy and some of the fake gold leaf, from Hobby Lobby, round the bottom...oh yeah! That ice bucket was a nice find, too. Hopefully Squeakers will get some food he likes and start doing much better!
Do you think those portrait pieces were of real people or mass produced with one lady? They are really cool!!!
@@chaptertwovintageco Many of them were of real people. Some had people like King Louis XIV, Marie Antoinette, Napoleon, etc. on them, and some were hand painted. There were some that were actually done as dinnerware sets. I've seen covered vegetable dishes with portraits on them. Those don't show up very often, though. I think mom has a couple pitchers with portrait images on them.

You can get glass clear glue in Lowes or Home Depot, pour it on the untaped side of the topper and let it dry, then remove tape, should be good as gold.

I can’t speak for “ all the resellers “ but I buy what I like depending on the price. Doesn’t matter the time of year.
I pick up Christmas all year around. I don't list it year round but I pick it up whenever I find something good that I know will sell. I also buy tons during the summer at garage/yard sales.
