Porsche had the worst accident they had the lead after peugot almost made it but than wrecked out

@@andrealettichBecause 16 hypercars fighting for the overall win with good competition. Almost every single one of em were leading for a moment but in the end it was toyota v ferrari and we got battles not only on the track but in the pits as well. Proper racing.
I may haven't been at Le Mans in France to watch it live, but since I became an Endurance Racing fan not long ago, it was my first time watching the 24H of Le Mans live on stream. Glad it was one of the best race I've seen; with so much variety of Hypercars, Ferrari's second 24H race victory of this year (24 hours of Nürburgring being their first with the new 296 GT3) and their first win after such a long time. On top of that, I watched the 100th anniversary!

I don't understand the BoP complaints. Under LMP1's EoT, Toyota were dominant against the independent manufacturers, and having a spending war is unsustainable - Audi and Porsche were spending over $200m a year. BoP at least rewards drivers and crews, rather than it being a formality of who built the best car 6 months before the season started.

Ferrari also got 24 kg and had less power than the toyota so the power disadvantage makes up for the 12 kg weight diffrence. Cadillac was 12kg lighter than the ferrari and had more power despite that it did not win. How come? Don't act like 12 kg when you have more power is something. Also, we're you blind to the beginning of the race? What did you see? Both the toyota overtaking the ferrari's. Clearly can catch up.

Le Mans does matter more than the rest of the season. The world of endurance racing will remember Ferrari winning at Le Mans much more than Toyota winning WEC.

@@Lastname6955 Right. But at the end of the race they were doing max attack because they had nothing to lose anyway. If they had a lighter car, maybe they would drive in 1st place and be able to drive more calmly. Although this is just a guess...
@@getnaenaed4222 From the beginning, I didn't like the idea of BoP in the WEC because it gives too much opportunity to fix results at the table and not on the track. In GT3 it works because there basically every race in the season is important. But in the WEC, winning Le Mans is more important than winning the championship at the end of the season.
