Famous work -fusus Al hikaam(bazels of wisdom).
however he had
emphasized the doctorines of wahdatul wujud. Wahdatul wujud is the opponent concept of wahdatul shuhud ,given by shaiqh Ahmed shirhindi.
Wahdatul wujud generally means the unity of existence.on the other hand wahdatul shuhud holds apparantism or unity of appearance. Ibn Arabi however compared God as an absolute with being .he also claimed that God is just and we are nothing"kullu man alaiha faan"(everyone shall taste death). God's existence is undescrible,and undefinable.he is alone in his existence.threfore God/ Allah is omnipotent,omniciant,and omnipresent.for instance-1-10core vs10 rupees

The Actual reality is only Witnessed experience and felt, wahadat up wajood is Only Witnessed through enlighten Eyes ,and the stage of Momin when it comes upto the standards of God and is given High Ranks to physically go through the Reality beyond seeing ,when momin is entered in to the light of Darkness then The Orignal world comes and That is gate way to Almighty Rahman ,and Before attaining the Title of momin it is Blessing of God to its Belivers to Make the momin Witnessed with reality eye seeing....

hazrat ibn arabi was not a pantheist. Only an advanced sufi can really understand hazrat ibn arabi. The speaker is certainly a scholar of philosophy but understanding sufis like ibn arabi needs another level of understanfing

Exactly his work is mind blowing and the man who reach at some place in Sufism could understand his works. Not like us, Ulama also recommend to not read his books because it could lead towards ignorance if you misunderstood the real thing.

I partially disagree specifically with "wahdat ul wajood" concept because this universe cannot be god itself, yes it is made by god but not god itself because if it's true (which is not the case) it means You and I are also god and when the day of judgment will come and those (people) who will go to hell means god is in the hell (according this idiotic concept)? Secondly if something like this would exist Our Prophets PBUH would have told us about this which is not the case. So do they want to say that this sufi was even more intelligent than Prophets PBHU ? This concept is 101% wrong. Also no one is/was/will perfect in this universe everybody made some mistakes except the God (Allah) only Allah is perfect and that's what make Allah, Allah.
I think you have not understood concept of wahdatul wajood . What you are expalining is Advaita philosophy of hinduism which is different from wahdatul wajood . There is a big difference between the two provided you look at it from a very fine angle , try to see it from that perspective ,there is no wrong vd wahdatul wajood .
There are a lot of commonalities within the Sufi schools with Buddha's thoughts except that he substitutes Nippana instead of God, esp with respect to the law of impermanence - anicca. But then he includes one single permanent law which is God itself. Now that is obviously a contradiction but not really if we keep our thoughts subject to takhleeq or intelligence and reason and not tahaeeq which is to know there truth - if we keep tahaeeq as primary then this thought system is quite similar to the technique of Vipassana...

Allah being light is a concept clear in the Quran and Sunnah. One of Allah's Asma-ul-Husna is Al-Nur (The Light). Don't compare Sufis with Greek thinkers, as people like Hericlitus was talking about something completely different than Ibn Arabi (Rah). Ibn Arabi (Rah) was NOT a Pantheist. You misunderstand his teachings. The true teachings of Wahdat ul Wujood is that none exists except Allah, which is pure monotheism, NOT pantheism.

You are mingling idea of Hulul in Wahdat Ul Wujood , Sab Kuch Khuda Nahi Hain Balki Khuda Hi Khuda Hain - jab hum yeh kehte Hain ki Sab Kuch Khuda Hain then we are in error because jab Sab Kuch Khuda Hain then there is no need to speak and with whom you are conversing with ! Then why are you lecturing us 😁? One should understand the working principal of Sifaat E Ilahiya , When one realize Wahdat then he become silent! You are mixing pantheism , Hulul , ittehad into Wahdat up Wajood. The chapter of Wahdat up Wujood is purely based on Haal ( State & Experience ) not Kaal ( intellect ) the absoluteness of Allah SWT is beyond the reach of intellect one can only realize the tajali of Zaat & Sifaat it is like drinking a drop from the ocean by drinking the drop one become aware of the existence of the ocean yet can never comprehend the entirety of it the more he drinks the more he gets thirsty. تم کون ہوتے ہو کسی کے تقویٰ کا فیصلہ کرنے والے. تم صرف اپنی فکر کرو. تم سے صرف تمہارے بارے میں سوال کیا جائے گا. تم سے تمہارے مرنے کے بعد نہ تو ابن تیمیہ کا پوچھا جائے گا نہ ابن عربی کا. وہ سوال ان سے کیا جائے گا کہ انہوں نے جو کہا وہ کیوں کہا. تم سے پوچھا جائے گا کے تم نے کتنی عبادت کی؟ تم نے کتنے روزے رکھے؟ تم نے کتنے احکامات پر عمل کیا؟ یہ کوئی نہیں پوچھے گا کہ وحدالوجود ہے کہ وحدالشہود ہے.

If Allah is a necessary existent and things are accidental existences, then the unity of existence turns out to be a kind of Pantheism. But that's not Arabi's perspective. To start with there is no "Being" in the Arabic language, Arabic philosophers have always made a distinction between Wujud (What is found) and Kun (to make). It's an interpretive principle that sees Absolute Reason working itself out within the revelation of Islam, Iman and Ihsan < The 3 tenets. Arabi has linked disparate elements from various parts of the revelation to each other to draw principles that are implicit within the revelation. And it is this Absolute reason of Allah who coordinated all these details in His creation of things, which we are meant to be read creatively to understand Allah's message to us.
This Doc is a very confused man and hasn't done proper research. You need to be very aware and perceptive to grasp Arabi. The subtlety and vastness of his works are lost on everyone.

If your mind can't digest his views, that doesn't mean he is zandeeq.
In general a very good summary of Ibn Arabi's thought, but many people, including Ibn Taimiyya, and you, have misunderstood "wahdat al wujud", a term, as you rightly state, was not used by Ibn Arabi himself. He was not a pantheist either, as you and so many others wrongly accuse him of. So it is not fair to attribute something to Ibn Arabi which he never stated. In other words, Ibn Arabi never promulgated the idea of so-called "Oneness of Being". He never stated that "Everything is one", and that "Everything is Allah" (sab kuchh Khuda hai), as you claim. As Chittick explains so well, what he did say is that nothing is Real (ie Haqq) except Allah (Haqq). This is just a logical derivation of our statement of faith, la ilaha il Allah, there is no god but Allah. Since Allah has infinite names, about 99 of which are mentioned in our tradition, the same statement can be transferred to every name of Allah, so that you could also say, there is no judge except the Judge, there is no love, except Love, there is no mercy except Mercy, etc.. The confusion occurs because we attribute reality to this level of existence, ie, matter, when the only Reality is Allah. As the Quran says, creation occurs as a result of Allah saying to something, Be, and it is. As Ibn Arabi explains, when the infinite Light of Allah shines on nothingness, the infinite variety of creation is endlessly created in every moment without repetition, in a wondrous never repeating tajalli of Allah. So the "essence" of every "thing" is zero, ie, nothing, because it was created from nothingness, and the only Reality is Allah, the Creator, without whom no thing would exist. In other words, la haqq, ila al Haqq.

Sir, you are totally wrong about wahdat ul wajud. You claim to be a philosopher, while you got the concept of wahdat ul wajud from common people which got us in trouble. Make proper study of wujud and then report about it.
