DVRA and W2ZQ History

Gary Wilson K2GW outlines the Delaware Valley Radio Association's history. One of the oldest radio clubs in the country, the DVRA was established in the 1930s and occupied more than a few HQ homes.
After World War II, Mercer County granted the club permission to use an abandoned Navy surplus transmitter building in West Trenton. Known affectionately as "The Shack," the club has called that building home ever since.
