@TelfordKoiPond well many a true word said in Jest and all that. I have a tiny koi that hasn't grown for 2yrs it's about 10-12cm we call him Tyrian 😂 let me know if you fancy a challenge 😉
Well done, phil, another belting video👍, the fish look great and camera work was so good🤔 😂 I hope you get the money for the charity 😀 Well done my friend 😄🐟
Thank you for watching and commenting, I really do appreciate it when I see your logo appear in the comments 😊👍. 3 have already been taken so I’m confident we will be able to reach the £100 we were aiming for🤞
Great to see you phil. Well crikey, getting 1 cm growth each week is crazy so you certainly are doing something right. I really love that showa you won at Oaki koi, just beautifully patterned. You really do have some " crazy good" fish and of course, your yellow Dragon you've named Syrax. Just shown my two eldest kids, they are mad fans too ! Thanks for sharing !
You are too kind, thank you. I think the combination of good water, large amounts of food , heat and a good flow in the tank has really promoted superb growth. I don’t expect to keep this level of growth going but I’m going to try and keep it going well into the autumn😊👍
Hi Phil, got a few koi going on there, getting addicted 😬 to growing them on 😅. I've found the Eazipod too much cleaning for me hence replaced the micro k1 for brushes. Yeah, dirting job removing brushes and hosing down but I've just managed 9 days without touching it without starving the system/pump. The growth you have is good of which can be expected, ie up to 4 cm avg per month, i doubt the bactoplus has contributed much to that, if at all tbh. What food and temperature have they had and over what period? Ta
@@TelfordKoiPond great feeling isn't it! I'm on SH growth at 24c and getting around 1cm per week but my nemesis is the koi are mixed sizes but happy enough and most of all enjoying the journey 😀 😊.
Compare the current daily life of Japanese hobbyists I get the impression that you scoop up too often KOIs and are constantly getting in the way. I don't know when this habit became the norm, but as long as it continues, It is sad to think that the day when you interact with the same values as us is far away.
@@TelfordKoiPond Thank you very much. The KOI you mention are TATEGOI with potential, so I hope the day will soon come when it will be commonplace to treat them differently from the general low~end KOIs!
They’ve done very well Phil…… 🐟 👍🏼
