My name is Lucy, I'm a 23-year-old girl from the Netherlands, and I'm here to offer an alternative approach to beauty.
On this channel I do mostly hair tutorials where I show you how to braid, pin and style your own hair. I recreate hairstyles from movies & tv shows and I regularly come up with my own, which I love to share with you!
I do lifestyle and beauty videos as well, ranging from wearable everyday looks, makeup tips and DIY natural beauty treatments, to fashion lookbooks, vegetarian recipes and more extreme Halloween tutorials.

Yes , I remember it in full color. The beginning credits actually says “ In technicolor “ . Wonderful movie, I have seen it a lot in my life ( I always wanted to look like Scarlet O’Hara ) now that I have an amazing idea of how to do it I might try.
Love this series! Just a small note: Gone with the Wind was actually made in technicolour, not black and white :)

The movie was in color. Lol. I went crazy when I seen this, I was so excited. I think Belle from Beauty And the Beast would be awesome. Also Tauriel from the Hobbit.
For B&W filming, many actresses chose brown lipstick shades as they would look most "natural" on screen. Vivien suffered from Bipolar disorder that ruined many of her future aspirations. I am so ADDICTED to your videos! :-)

I think you kind of told on yourself not having ever seen the film when you said it was in black and white haha. I hope now, two years later, you've found time to actually watch it, it's a cinematic masterpiece and the hair and costumes are also fabulous! One of my favourite fun facts is that when the movie was filmed there were only something like nine Technicolor cameras in existence and they used ALL of them to make Gone with the Wind!
if you're going to try fictional I'd try a jane Austen character. I just love Edwardian and recency period hair

I love Vivien Leigh! Great video, Gone with the Wind is my favourite novel and movie. But the picture was in colour :O If you've only seen it in black and white I recommend you see it in colour for the best experience! :)

I've been binge-watching this series and wondering if suggesting a Helen of Troy inspired look would be stretching the idea, but if you're doing fictional ones it would be ideal! Admittedly it may well be pretty close to the ancient Greek one you've already done, but still, worth a thought.

Love the hair!! Fictional Beauty Beacons sounds great, Eowyn's hair at Theodred's funeral in Lord of the Rings is beautiful, although I'm not sure how much you can really see under her veil.
