Soham, humbly sending my deepest respect. You are such a highly accomplished and multitalented individual. Always deeply appreciate your silversmithing tutorials. Yet, as I recall, your background with Porsche (yes, two syllables) certainly shines and here again with this beautiful BMW, now with such clean lines - what a great bike! Props to you, and ever onward!👍
I know zero about bikes but I know that's a real beauty! ☝️💞👍 Am I the only one who watched this with the same kind of attention I give to the jewelry making videos..? It was only after he rode off that I realized class was over! Haha!!
I have an 1100RT and an 1100GS. I'm not interested in tuning, but happy to try sensible tweaks. The perceived wisdom is to put GS inlet tubes (from airbox to throttle bodies) on the RT as this gives a solid performance boost. Cheap and easy to do. There is some info on the interweb which gives dyno information, I think about 5 hp from memory. The author says it is a simple but noticeable difference - I can confirm it is! I nice bit of extra push.
Very nice I like it. I would guess it is unusual for BMW to be stolen. Usually that's Kawasaki or R1 or GSX R. Currently riding R 1150r , and r1100s... 🙏🙏
Thanks for this video - I'm doing something similar and this was very helpful. Did fitting the 1150r front suspension arm change the ride height at all?
You did a great job...do you think a similar conversion could be done from a 1999 BMW R1100S to make it a R1100GS? A friend has a wreched R1100S and want to sell it. Thanks for the motivation.

Great looking bikes Soham, that's a great conversion you've done there. All the best Stevie
I refitted my Dawes pedal bike years ago, felt so proud! Good memories thank you

Very cool, Dadd!
Sweet ! I love it. Makes me have an itch.
Time to get a GoPro helmet and take us with you!
Very nice!
Looks nice. I’m down to a 150 Honda scooter. They want me to give even that up. I’m only 82. They will have to pry it from my cold dead hands.

Like you said, the stripped-down version is much cooler, including the color. Tupperware, lol! Where is your Ducati??? :)
