Winter Soldier was one of my first named characters that i pulled in a mega orb. I used him a ton in the early days of the game, he was really good, but now I don't use him at all..
I remember that with my second set of free red stars I pulled a 7 red star aim monstrosity, I was devastated, then they announced the aim rework and I got really happy, he went from trash to beast
Interestingly, I think at one point of time, Merc Sniper actually had the highest base damage of any character... And also the lowest HP. I was really hoping that they reworked Crossbones and Winter Soldier when the Red Skull came out but nope... Maybe when the series comes out.. I think it's Falcon and the Winter Soldier..
Merc Sniper still has really good base damage and his special hurts like hell if you have high red stars. Even though he's not a great character and he is still incredibly squishy, hitting someone for 450% damage + 50% piercing every three turns is definitely not terrible. In terms of incredibly high value T4 upgrades, his special has to rank pretty high since it adds 90% damage and 10% piercing. Not saying anyone should do it but it seems like great bang for your buck.
@@metalmaster29 Yepp that second to last node in FTD has a few Merc Snipers, and while they are pretty easy to take out, they hit hard as hell. I got through FTD in a week (planned forever for it) but I think that node took me the most turns bc of the constant quick kills they would hand out.. If they hit Minn-erva early, even with IW's barrier, I would restart

I actually really like my 6 RS Ravager Bruiser with 55K power. He's got great speed, great health, decent damage, has a basic attack that adds taunt 70% of the time, a passive that has a 20% block chance, and a special that heals a little bit but also adds defense up for 3 turns. I run him on a cosmic misfit team with Thanos, Minerva, Captain Marvel, and Ultron. Him and Thanos basically pull double tank duty to protect Minerva and Ultron while Captain Marvel deals out damage.
I wouldn’t include minions. Although some can be useful it’s a little unfair cuz most don’t have the abilities the metas do. With that outa the way the 10 worst are: Night nurse, winter soldier, Nobu, nebula, mysterio, mbaku, america Chavez, cable, Electra & Rescue. No particular order. I may say that Nobu & Mysterio are the worst due to the investment required to get great characters (Invisible Woman, Phoenix).
I have one 7 red star...NOBU! I also have a 6RS Hand Sorceress & a 5RS Archer. In fact all my Hand are at least 4RS. I have Nebula & Hawkeye at 6RS too. On the upside, Falcon, Mordo & Symbiote Spidey are all 6RS pulls I’ve got so not too bad!
Idea for nebula rework. Make her a substitute for thanos in a black order team. Or, let her steal the infinty gauntlet from thanos as a hard counter to BO

I disagree with the Winter Soldier selection. I would have agreed, but I found him super strong in war offense with Captain America, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, and Mercenary Lieutenant. ML goes before him and provides him with Offense Up for his ulti, which is him deleting someone.
I got Bullseye early on and I did put some stuff into him. Now that I'm catching up after my 1.5 year departure, he is on a villains team for Blitz for me. He's squishy, which sucks, but he has helped me.

Nebula works good as part of the clean up crew in war. If you somehow only take out 4 characters on a war team and need to go back for that last kill but don’t wanna waste your good ones from another team nebula usually does good as she speeds up, counters and evades alot.
Ravager legendary: Taser Face 1st attack: Big gun - large gun that does 100% damage and cause bleed 2nd attack: Mutanty - cause the other team to turn against their selves for 1 full turn 3rd attack: Humility - causes team to relax and gain turn meter and small amount of health Passive: Distraction - if a member of the team gets attacked more than 3 times in a row he will gain taunt
You should do a video with the worst characters you shouldn't level up excluding minions because let's be honest nobody levels minions that's why we get pissed when they force us to use them they're always useless compared to other characters
Nebula is useful in war to "Strip" a boost off of an enemy team.. She moves fast and with her Ult, she evades x2, which could cause enemy team to use 2 more Ults/specials to try to kill her.. Then you can follow up with another attack to take the team out.
I upgraded Boomer to 7 stars before I even got rocket becuase at start of the game I did not have an alliance who can consistently raid and I have had a lot of blitz tokens to buy the characters. At one point Boomer and the Merc character were the only ones I did not have at 7 stars with no sign of a new character being added so I started buying Boomer. Also, I had leveled up Nebula for Villians campaign and had her at level 60 and 6444 even before Thanos came out. She was top 5 power on my team becuase I pulled 5 RS from her as one of my first red star opening and a couple months ago pulled a 6 RS of her. She has not been worked on in a long time (think tier 10 and a couple pieces) and is top 15 highest characters I have because of the red stars. Back before level 70 increase in levels I had all my most usable characters at 65 and had started to level up ones to level 60 like Cable, Winter Soldier, the Hand, Antman and Wasp? (not sure if she was out yet), Ronan pre rework, Thor, etc just in case they were useful one day. So far, only Nobu and Hand Assassin and Thor are very usable for things, Ronan isn't bad, rest are all crap though. And now I have 9 of the last 11 released characters that I have unlocked sitting at around 8k-10k in power because I do not have the resources to level them up and do anything with like Toad, Blob, the Inhumans (do not yet have BB), Sym Spider, and couple others. Saving up for Black Bolt next go round to take him up to as high as I can for Arena when he releases next.
I’ve actually got AIM infector at 7 red stars! (5 of which are filled out). And Nebula is sooo underrated. (She does NEED a team)! I’ve been pairing her with Thanos, Proxima, Ronan, and Minn-Erva, and it’s been a pretty good team honestly.
Falcon & Winter Soldier show is this fall. They need to switch Winter Soldier to Hero/Avenger and give him synergy with Cap and Falcon. Mercs could get reworked if Taskmaster turns out to be one. Cable will eventually get reworked once we get X-Force. Guardians of the Galaxy showed other Ravangers so maybe in the future we will get new characters. They showed Martinex, Charlie-27, Starhawk and Aleta in Vol.2 briefly as Ravangers. Although in the comics they are actually the first Guardians of the Galaxy. More Spidey characters would be great but Spider-Gwen and Spider-man 2099 will definitely be attached to the next Spiderverse film. Maybe throw in Silk as a 5th.
I hate how powerful my boomer is. But I got Star Lord to 7 star just after groot became farmable. Needed a second Ravager. At least he can solo a default war team.
They said that Bullseye was trash even though I've had a 20k power do some really solid damage to a 40k power Hulk(granted it wasn't a lot because... well... should be obvious) and his defense isn't the shabbiest thing, unlike Nebula who has trash attack and defense
I have a 6 red star hydra grenadier I have him built up to level 75, gear tier 12,664 abilities he does a lot of damage and is tanky I use him in place of hydra guard . His ultimate hits 2 times does massive damage
On the question of building a bad character with high red stars, I think the answer is absolutely that you should NOT build them or rank them up if you have high red stars on them. They're still going to be bad but now if you use them in Blitz there's more likely to be a useful character that's scaled up based on the red stars of a crappy 7rs Nebula or something, and it's very easy for that character to be EVEN MORE USELESS with high red stars than anything else. Suddenly your 7rs Nebula means you have a 7rs Rocket or something useful on the other team.
Funny how much of a difference TM made. Now merc lieutenant and riot guard are useful (especially lieutenant for the heals in war defense), and bullseye is useful too for his burst with TM follow-ups on the war defense team. made a good chunk of this video obsolete about a month after it was made lol
I have to disagree with your putting Bullseye on this list. At higher star levels(mine is 7 gold and 3 or 4 red; I think 4 red) his damage is incredible. In a lot of cases I can one shot toons with his ult and even his special. Plus he does have the merc tag which makes him, in my eyes, very useful for the payday event. Yes he is a little squishy, but if you pair him with a good healer, he deals a lot of damage. I am using him in DD1 and he has more than proved that I did not make a mistake in taking him to the level I did. Great vid though Trevor. Hope you and your family are doing well.👍✌

Darn... I have winter soldier upgraded (3red stars) because I pulled a 6red star Crossbones (my strongest character so far) early on do I was trying to assist on the damage.. but he is so fragile if anything on the opposing team outspeeds me he's the first to go ._.
I'm actually very disappointed in the regular Spiderman... I hoped for a rework for him and Hulk, who I feel should also have the brawler tag too (& maybe some more health).
Hulk should have been a Legendary character, but instead, this is the crap we get... He should be one of the hardest ones to beat. When it's harder to beat Drax than Hulk, something is wrong.

Monstrosity is the only aim minion that does any noticeable damage and more than graviton. I use him, security and assault along with my 7 red sci supreme and 6 red graviton

(not sure if she was out yet), Ronan pre rework, Thor, etc just in case they were useful one day. So far, only Nobu and Hand Assassin and Thor are very usable for things, Ronan isn't bad, rest are all crap though. And now I have 9 of the last 11 released characters that I have unlocked sitting at around 8k-10k in power because I do not have the resources to level them up and do anything with like Toad, Blob, the Inhumans (do not yet have BB), Sym Spider, and couple others. Saving up for Black Bolt next go round to take him up to as high as I can for Arena when he releases next.
Ravanger boomer is my only 7 red star and killed me when i pulled that
I’ve actually got AIM infector at 7 red stars! (5 of which are filled out). And Nebula is sooo underrated. (She does NEED a team)! I’ve been pairing her with Thanos, Proxima, Ronan, and Minn-Erva, and it’s been a pretty good team honestly.

Falcon & Winter Soldier show is this fall. They need to switch Winter Soldier to Hero/Avenger and give him synergy with Cap and Falcon. Mercs could get reworked if Taskmaster turns out to be one. Cable will eventually get reworked once we get X-Force.
Guardians of the Galaxy showed other Ravangers so maybe in the future we will get new characters. They showed Martinex, Charlie-27, Starhawk and Aleta in Vol.2 briefly as Ravangers. Although in the comics they are actually the first Guardians of the Galaxy.
More Spidey characters would be great but Spider-Gwen and Spider-man 2099 will definitely be attached to the next Spiderverse film. Maybe throw in Silk as a 5th.
I hate how powerful my boomer is. But I got Star Lord to 7 star just after groot became farmable. Needed a second Ravager. At least he can solo a default war team.
They said that Bullseye was trash even though I've had a 20k power do some really solid damage to a 40k power Hulk(granted it wasn't a lot because... well... should be obvious) and his defense isn't the shabbiest thing, unlike Nebula who has trash attack and defense

Bartman I have a 6 star boomer and he’s saved my bacon a few times when he’s paired up with vision
I have a 6 red star hydra grenadier I have him built up to level 75, gear tier 12,664 abilities he does a lot of damage and is tanky I use him in place of hydra guard . His ultimate hits 2 times does massive damage
So sad they called out Bullseye and Nebula as I have Bullseye at 7 red stars and Nebula at 6 red stars. Have not and I guess will not build them up.

On the question of building a bad character with high red stars, I think the answer is absolutely that you should NOT build them or rank them up if you have high red stars on them. They're still going to be bad but now if you use them in Blitz there's more likely to be a useful character that's scaled up based on the red stars of a crappy 7rs Nebula or something, and it's very easy for that character to be EVEN MORE USELESS with high red stars than anything else. Suddenly your 7rs Nebula means you have a 7rs Rocket or something useful on the other team.

Funny how much of a difference TM made. Now merc lieutenant and riot guard are useful (especially lieutenant for the heals in war defense), and bullseye is useful too for his burst with TM follow-ups on the war defense team. made a good chunk of this video obsolete about a month after it was made lol
I have to disagree with your putting Bullseye on this list. At higher star levels(mine is 7 gold and 3 or 4 red; I think 4 red) his damage is incredible. In a lot of cases I can one shot toons with his ult and even his special. Plus he does have the merc tag which makes him, in my eyes, very useful for the payday event. Yes he is a little squishy, but if you pair him with a good healer, he deals a lot of damage. I am using him in DD1 and he has more than proved that I did not make a mistake in taking him to the level I did.

Bullseye has ridiculously high single target damage but still useless without AOE or synergy.

1st Attack: Yaka Arrow - sending arrow at half speed thru all enemies until it misses (gains accuracy when Yondu is on same team)
2nd Attack: Loyalty - gives 1 energy to all ravager tagged allies (Tier 4 gains 2 energy)
3rd Attack: Learning - Sends Yaka Arrow full speed at enemies and removes any taunt or defense up buffs
passive: morning - If Yondu goes down on the team, a funeral is held causing blind and stun for all enemies for 1 turn

Darn... I have winter soldier upgraded (3red stars) because I pulled a 6red star Crossbones (my strongest character so far) early on do I was trying to assist on the damage.. but he is so fragile if anything on the opposing team outspeeds me he's the first to go ._.

I'm actually very disappointed in the regular Spiderman... I hoped for a rework for him and Hulk, who I feel should also have the brawler tag too (& maybe some more health).
Hulk should have been a Legendary character, but instead, this is the crap we get... He should be one of the hardest ones to beat. When it's harder to beat Drax than Hulk, something is wrong.
The only thing original Spiderman has going for him, is the teams he can be a part of, & yet he brings nothing to the table himself...

Ouch I so happen to have a 7r nebula lol I did build her up and I have her on defense I use to get some wins but lately none it's my only 7r so I did build her up I do believe cable has use though I wouldn't put him at one of the 10 worst the rest I totally agree with you guys stay safe
What really annoys me about Stitcher is that you get him at the beginning and he is completely trash compared to Shield Medic
Monstrosity is the only aim minion that does any noticeable damage and more than graviton. I use him, security and assault along with my 7 red sci supreme and 6 red graviton
I really like my Winter Soldier, very brutal around 32,000, doesn't need a team but is interchangeable. Almost at 7 🌟 with 3red.
