- The Discovery has been a strong SUV in Land Rover's lineup for years. Under the hood is a 3.0L supercharged V6 producing 340 HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. On the inside is luxury that is fit for a king with tons of technology. With it's air ride suspension and AWD setup this the 2019 Land Rover Discovery the off road luxury SUV king?

Lol I have had my discovery for well over two years and never flipped up the 3rd row until tonight because i always assumed they were noy useable. Seing you hop back there and fit encouraged me to try it myself. I’m 6ft and about 300lbs, yeah it wasn’t easy getting back there but once I was in, no issues at all, I could easily do a trip back there, now I know I can cram my in-laws back there if I need lol. Love your videos man, keep ‘‘em coming.

Joe, I have been watching all of your videos since you started this channel and just realized that the way you go over each vehicle in great detail reminds me of an art appreciation class that I took in college. I think the land cruiser fj runner and the 4 runner and the g wagon are the cars that you should buy if you want to go off roading

At that weight and lack of “ in class” hp it’s not going to tow 8k lbs without redlining it the entire time. So many manufacturers are just outright lying about towing capacities

3 ltr engines from Land Rover will always tow 3.5 tons. I just bought the 306hp version, tows like a dream, best in class.
What's the safety rating for new drivers local used car lot has one for sale it's in good condition good mileage but is it good for new drivers that don't have all that experience

A good honest review (could be better if he'd stop waving his arms about), I have a blk 2LT SE, no power lack for me from the 240 engine. My 3rd Disco and by far the best, (and my 5th vehicle from JLR) try one off road as it comes from the factory, bigger tyres aren't needed by 99% of owner/drivers. Look up the owners club here in the UK. Only real drawback is the price now, over 10K (UKP) more than my D3 (LR3) was. Some of the comments on here are from lack of knowledge, i.e. you can get a kit to centre the number plate and not all countries get the same spec of course.
The tailgate is that shape to remind you of the older models but it can be fixed if you don't like it.

Nice review, one of the better ones I’ve seen. The only critical comment I can make is that I wish you were able to take it off road a bit. I understand most dealerships would frown on that though.
