i've gotten enough comments that i think i should pin this. for nollie tricks frontside and backside are reversed. i made a video about it ua-cam.com/video/jVSaYYfceBE/v-deo.html or feel free to look it up! :)
Sorry to prove you totally wrong. In Nollie you go backside and frontside just like like in normal ollie, you just pop from the nose. Fakie ollie is where you go reversed from swith ollie. I know its easy to think nollie as reversed. But it doesn't matter since whatever leg forward you go you still spin over the same rotation with your shoulders. example ----> Fakie halfcab = Switch frontside nollie
semantics aside, a lot of people think the nollie fs 360 shove it in this video is backside, but it's not. i know that it makes sense because for a nollie frontside 180 you're turning the same way as a regular frontside 180, so technically it's not "reversed", but for the sake of people's understanding, it's the opposite of what they might think. i get what you mean, though (i think), a lot of people just get bs and fs wrong when it comes to nollie though. (and if you watch my video i linked to i actually point out that it actually is fakie that is reversed)
This is the number one skate channel right now. Love that it is so no nonsense. Just pure skating with good instructions! And the voice is really soothing. :P
haha he is blessed with having the best spots to skate: empty parking lots and empty streets and neighborhoods. lol! I have to travel super far or practice in the backyard
Seriously the best tutorials! In 13 minutes I leave with a enough information to practice all kinds of moves. When I get tried of one I am ready to practice another.
i just want to say thank u because ur regular and I'm regular and braillie makes it confusing at kickflips, and frontsides but u describe it so much it helps me and now I can do better kickflips keep up the good work
I saw a youtuber called Sergio Lucea flip his board from his hand standing on the floor and landing on the board, so I tried it and I noticed it wasn't so difficult (I hope you understand the trick)
1) kickflip 2) heelflip 3) fakie flip 4) fakie heel 5) varial flip 6) fakie varial flip 7) half cab flip 8) half cab flip 9) backside flip 10) half cab heel you might feel theres some tricks easier than this like frontside flips over backside flips, but most people find them easier backside cos you foot gets to come of the board away from the roataion of the trip. im not including anything like "boneless finger flip" cos thats just not a flip trick...
When I’m riding around my favorite trick to do is nollie frontside 180’s and then fakie front 3, they’re so much fun and gives off the illusion that you’re a lot better than you are, because they’re actually really easy
great videos I've seen all three of em. I like all of em. I can't land all of the tricks on any of em but they all give stuff to try and that keeps me motivated to skate a little every day. Just starting to skate at 36 is tuff so the extra motivation is great. I come close to landing or land some of these and that also keeps me stoked on skating myself and with my rapidly advancing 11 year old son
Wow wtf! I haven't been watching you since you had like 300 subscribers, but I've still had you in my subscribers box, so I clicked this video and you have benn growing so much! Congrats man I thought that you would be big one day from the first time I saw you having about 50 subscribers. And btw I found you by sawing your comment on Brailles video some year ago
I know how to kickflip pretty consistently and yet I dont know how to do some of the tricks on this list. This might bring the motivation of skating back into me. Thank you man🙏🙏🙏🙏
Lmao this is great, i was struggling on what new to learn, so i just found this video, since i like spinning tricks i literally went out for 10 minutes and landed the fakie 360 3 times, then it started raining, thanks alot tho.
I'm a beginner skateboarder and I've been skating for 2 months and I live in a place in the uk called Basingstoke and it doesn't have a big skate scene so this video is really helpful
I have a question. is skate board skill can be transferred to snowbarding. but not the other way around. is it true that almost all skate boarder can learn snow board quickly and transfer skate board tricks into snow board tricks ?
great way to explain and very useful video please keep going you are doing a great job. Not surprising me if one day I will see your training course and I will buy it for sure.
ive been only skating for a few month and I saw the slappy nose stall and it was pretty easy. so I stepped it up to a slappy nose slide which is really cool and now I know a slide trick. put that in youre next vid it would be cool bc it was easy
thank you so much. also i think you should do both types of tricks (intermediate and beginner) like i can do some beginner tricks and would soon try to transition to intermediate
Tbh if I were to get a longboard I’d just use it for cruising during this shitty virus. Just relieves stress. Listen to a longboard on a smooth blacktop on a nice spring day, feel the wind from it, no stress, no tricks, just cruising and hearing the nice sound of the smooth soft wheels on blacktop. It’s fucking great for anxiety without obstacles, try it it’s worthwhile I promise. I tried it on my cousins longboard once and I fell in love, but I never had the want or need to buy one.
Hi VLSkate, I remember you mentioned a skater who was really doing a bunch of extremely unique tricks. And I thought you mentioned it in this video but I didn't see it. What was that guys name?
great video! This difficulty level is perfect. There are enough "how to Ollie" videos out there. You are the one that explains tricks the best imo. "This is stupid but make sure you can jump 180 degrees" LOL!

VLSkate your right and I only heard skaters that either suck or never been around enough other skaters to get schooled on it say other wise.
I learned tail drops on a school desk chair
This is the number one skate channel right now. Love that it is so no nonsense. Just pure skating with good instructions! And the voice is really soothing. :P
magnus soderbom I agree 1000%
totally correct bro!
Yeah it is!
Cough cough brAille
I kinda like some nonsense with my skating though.
0:23 - Tail Drop
1:36 - Fakie Fs 360
2:54 - 180 Boneless
4:04 - Boardstall
5:15 - 180 Hippie Jump
6:11 - Nose Pick
7:10 - Flamingo
8:45 - Nollie fs 360 shove it
10:02 - Fastplant
11:16 - Early Grab Finger Flip
Thanks
I tried doing the fast plant, ended up doing a face plant.

Thank you so much this is so helpful
I'm really liking the new environs. So quiet and devoid of cars you can imagine you're the last man on earth.
this community is new construction so there's literally no one around all day long. it's awesome for skating
haha he is blessed with having the best spots to skate: empty parking lots and empty streets and neighborhoods. lol! I have to travel super far or practice in the backyard
tttttttt
@@VLSkate wish I lived over there
Thanks man I've been really dry with my tricks and this vid showed me some tricks to make my set of tricks come back to life keep up the good work man
when I did the fingerflip my friends thought I did a kickflip nosegrab 😂
4:02 almost runs over his phone XD
haha! i didn't even notice that

I really appreciate your tutorials, always very chill and to the point but still entertaining to watch. Keep up the good work man.
Your nollie spin directions are definitely right! I have a video about why they're 'wrong' too.
Seriously the best tutorials! In 13 minutes I leave with a enough information to practice all kinds of moves. When I get tried of one I am ready to practice another.

Cash Carti ik but you shouldn’t be like that to a beginner, it takes one bad experience to ruin something for someone
Always wanted to learn finger flips. Thank you for best tutorial yet.
Please make more of these, I love them!
i just want to say thank u because ur regular and I'm regular and braillie makes it confusing at kickflips, and frontsides but u describe it so much it helps me and now I can do better kickflips keep up the good work
Braille is just correct 🤣 he’s not using the correct names for the tricks that Nollie “frontside” pop shuv it is actually backside
10 Easy Flip Tricks?
please
Guro Adolfsen impossible cause u need to learn flip tricks over a longer period of time
Guro Adolfsen every flip is hard to learn dude..
I saw a youtuber called Sergio Lucea flip his board from his hand standing on the floor and landing on the board, so I tried it and I noticed it wasn't so difficult (I hope you understand the trick)
1) kickflip
2) heelflip
3) fakie flip

5) varial flip
6) fakie varial flip
7) half cab flip
8) half cab flip
9) backside flip

Why aren't 360 inward heelflips on this list those are pretty intermediate right
Brandon Irving yeah and nollie 360 hardflip crossfoots
Brandon Irving also nollie north front foot late back foot kickflip
That woukd be between intermediate and advanced for most people
Inward heels have become less of an intermediate trick and more of an advanced trick these days
Swith tre bluntslide double flip out
yes, more easy and intermediate tricks videos please, and tutorials. these are the best, thanks a lot.
I wouldn't put these as intermediate tricks. More beginner
harry hall a lil less than intermediate
I agree, these are year 1 tricks
Blark agreed
These are like "takes a day or two to learn/master" his beginner ones are like "takes 30 mins max"

I know that this is a pretty old video, but is second trick can be also called full cab?
No , full cab don't exist...just say cab and a cab is backside 180 with a 180 pivot
