I remember this as a kid! The fact that they both kept breaking each other up just made it better. Joan Rivers is a legend, and this is an amazing bit.
Christina Onassis, she was an heiress to a massive fortune. I don't think she was particularly ugly but maybe Joan targeted her because she had all that wealth to cushion her from the mean jokes.
Beneath all the glitz and glammer Liza Taylor was a living breathing human being with feelings. And it’s not like her fat phase lasted that long anyway. Thankfully she lost all that disgusting flab pretty quickly and kept it off for the rest of her life. And at least none of her many husbands committed scde.
hmm, Joan did address about this to Liz through a friend long before. and she said it didn't bother her where she lived. also, Joan did a lot of jokes about The Queen being unclassy, Bo Dereck being stupid, or president's family being ugly... my point is, if the jokes doesn't affect them, why should you be bothered?

Remember Joan Rivers funny
In Joan River's first joke, under "Ugly," who is she talking about? I think I heard the name Christine, but didn't hear the last name.
