The busiest station in the UK for passenger traffic, Heathrow Central Bus Station is a major point for bus traffic. Very convenient to London Heathrow (LHR) Airport, the Central Bus Station, while crowded is highly convenient. Hop aboard a National Bus and check out the ride experience as we travel in a brand new bus to Southampton on the South Coast of England.

How much cost to journey
In June, 2024, I took #203 from LHR Central Bus Station to Southampton Station Harbour Parade. The bus was clean and comfortable. The driver was excellent and kept all 12 passengers informed along the route. My 2 pieces of luggage were safely stored below. In May, 2025, I will once again travel on #203. 😊
Hello - were you going on a cruise? Your bus was not crowded - mine was quite crowded. I don't think my driver kept us updated proactively but I think there was a sign that called out the stop

I've traveled from Heathrow T5 and Gatwick south terminal to Leicester without any problems.... National Express works in a very efficient way.

Thanks for this as we are back cruising in 2025 and will be changing coaches at Heathrow. The train has far too many changes for us and even with railcards it’s still expensive.

We are going to cruise in this summer. We plan to take National express from LHR to Southampton . However, l am not sure where I can find stop (stand?) number for boarding bus in central bus station. I think it must be displayed on the information board in station room. Are there any other places I can find ? I would like to know earlier if possible.

There are signs inside the Station. There are signs at each bay where the bus stops. Just be safe and confirm with the driver when he checks your ticket - "Sir, please confirm this bus is going to Southampton?

Yes there are Uber cars everywhere and your standard taxi stand
Thanks for your video. I am confused if I have to take the train or national express from Heathrow Terminal 3 to Coventry. I have 3 luggage and it is too heavy for me to get in and get off the train. You video confirms that it is easy to travel by bus. It takes 1 to 2 hours more but it is much more easy for me. Thanks again !

Much cheaper than the train. I went to Basingstoke from Coventry three weeks ago. £9.80 single on the national express. Wanted £35 on the train! Takes longer but it's way cheaper

It takes more than 2 hours. About 2 hours 20 minutes
So we can go from terminal 2 right to the station by walking? And how often does the bus run to Southampton? Should we purchase tickets in advance or right at station?
Yes you can walk to the bus station from T2. You can buy tickets at the counter. There are plenty of departures daily as well. It is very easy

Can you provide insights on the luggage restriction. I see in the website they mention max 40 Kg. However International passengers might got up to 46kgs (considering the airlines accepted limits).
I don't think it will be a problem. Just take any tags "Heavy" off to avoid gaining any attention. These guys move so many suitcases a day they're used to it
Just been there yesterday. No ticket window no caffé nero anymore. All closed down. Very sad.

Hello. My bus route was to and from Southampton. There is 1 bus a day most days direct from Heathrow. You can change buses if it not a direct service

United from Washington Dulles. I think it was a 777. United is certainly one of my bottom ranked carriers

Dony buy tickets from the desk at the terminal. When I asked if the price was the same as the kiosk in the bus center and said I would just buy there because kiosk price was cheaper they lied to me saying the first two busses were sold out to Southampton. Well I get to the kiosk and guess what ... plenty of open tickets. They are liars in the terminal.
Yes even some time ago when I made this video it was more expensive at the office. So we bought them at the machine. They were not friendly either. Crabapples them!
This route does not exist anymore. The 204 runs Heathrow to poole
