- Double oven mitts sewing tutorial in two versions (patchwork and solid); in this tutorial I also show you how to make your own bias tape with, or without bias tape maker.

I just have one question, before you quilted, you pinned it and you said to baste. Are we basting around the edges or basting in the ditch?
Good evening. I love the idea and have seen it before. My question is always the same though. Why use the heat resistant batting on the outside portion of the actual mit, when the hot pots will be on the inside with the usual/commonly used batting? So the heat resistant batting is not really needed...am I correct? Just questioning for more clarity. Keep the videos coming. Have a wonderful evening and God’s blessings!
it's simply for extra protection... i'd rather use the insulated one than regular batting (may as well)...just in case you hit other part of your oven....thank you ❤️

Hi, I'm in the middle of making this. Where is Panel D supposed to be applied? In the directions of pdf on page 2, panel C is mentioned but I'm not sure where Panel D would be applied on the front?
