What are those “flaps/levers) with a “+” and “-“ on the steering column? And how do you use cruise control? I was driving and was pushing those flaps, and the engine made a sporty sound and it said “M3” instead of “D2” !
I was freaking out!! It seemed when I braked to stop, it went back to normal! Thx for your help!
Those are paddle shifters. You can drive the car manually using those. The sound you heard was likely your rpm revving high as you manually down shifted your car. Just don't touch them lol.

I looked at this car today, I don’t think you’d need to mount it if you have car play, bc it displays your phone … idk if it has android auto on it
