Thank you for sharing! Way too much STRESS for me to find Rallying enjoyable. This from someone who has many more than 2 million miles driving commercially.
That's hilarious! I was just thinking "that looks like Glen Rose!" Just before you said where you were. I'm still working up the nerve to do a rally. They look like so much fun but kind of stressful!
@@whitmeza I think that's a good idea. Did you just use your phone for routing? I guess on a short rally it's reasonable to just go point to point on one's phone instead of trying to upload every thing to a GPS, color code it, etc. like folks do on bigger rallies.
Good to see you posting videos again Whit. I've done a few car rallies (where you have a navigator to do the guide work) but never a motorcycle rally. Looks like fun.
this looked like a fun day! how many miles did you get on the PA before you got gas? I pushed mine one day and got between 230-240 in road mode.....sláinte
This may sound like a crazy question in today's tech age but is it possible to do a rally like this one without a fancy smartphone? I just don't have a use for being in constant contact with the world.
Yes, it would require mapping things out ahead of time. But I know the hoka hey rally doesn't require any sort of electronics just turn by turn directions. :)
Great job Whit. Where do you find out about these long distance rallies? Are there others and is there a website that has them listed. Looks like loads of fun.
How many miles was it or did you just have to plan a route and get to as many checkpoints as possible. Not sure how rallies work. I have done the Oregon 500 the last 25 years. It is aprx. 500 miles never the same route although some of the same roads sometimes. That is usually 12 hours for me. Come to Oregon and do it if you can sometime it is early May most years just before Mothers Day.
Thanks, great to see a video of yours again. Congratulations.
More to come!

Makes sense. It is a bit stressful when things don’t go as planned.
Your drive is so relatable! Always driven to do more
Thank you! 👌
This video is exactly what I needed !!! So awesome
Perfect! 🙌
Love the long distance content!
You ever get subscribed with Amsoil Adam? He’s a great cat to sub with, he’s also set up at all the major rallies.

Nice! Try the 8 hour like I did in April. It was a lot of fun.

Well that sounds super fun too!
Whoohoo! New video.
🙌 wedding season is over for the year I finally have the extra time to edit at night.
Good job. Looks like you had fun.
Thank you. That I did.
That looks like a lot of fun.
It was. I’m excited to try again now that I have some experience under my belt. ;)
@@whitmeza There is one in the Pacific Northwest this spring. I am going to try it. Looks like a great reason to go for a ride.
Great work, looks like you had a blast. Maybe next year for me.
Heck yes!! It’s on my calendar as well.
@@whitmeza Looks like there's no 8 hour next year. A 48 and a 96.
I like the commentary; you sound like a lot of us think.
;)
@@whitmeza There, I fixed it.
Great video, hope you did well, what app were you using to add you info & pictures
It was the app created for the HOT rally specifically. I did use REVER to record it.
YAY Well done lady
Thank you!

@@whitmeza Mapping things out ahead of time is right up my alley, that's my favorite part of trip planning. Thanks for the reply.
Ride safe out there.

The miles vary on the route you plan for the 8 hour or the 36 hour. Mine was just over 400 miles for the day.
Do you have the toy model of the pan America I have one. Soo Cool came out last year
No, but I really want one! Where did you find yours?!
@@whitmeza just went to my local Harley Davidson and ask if they carry the toy model of pan America good luck
