I know I'm late to the party but I just bought this foundation and it's SO much better and easier to use a foundation brush instead of a beauty blender. It gives me more coverage! I love it.
Yes, I really love this product. I've used two bottles of it. But I have to agree, that the one thing I don't like is that fact that the doe foot applicator doesn't apply a lot of product and I have to dip into the bottle several times to cover my face. It really does make my skin look healthy and fresh and Even though I don't like the applicator, I will still continue to use this product.
This is my new foundation and has been for 4 months. My skin is extra dry and usually the old foundation would make it worse. Neutrogena has helped my skin so much. It is soft no redness and I use the ware gel hydro boost stuff too

i saw Kathleen haul this and i literally went out and bought it the next day. 😂 my skin has been uncharacteristically dry lately so i figured this could be beneficial. the formula is great and i absolutely _love_ the applicator! this + shape tape is my go-to combo right now.

What lip color were you wearing in the beginning of the video? Btw the foundation looked amazing on your skin!!
Just an fyi: for more mature skin I like it. For effected skin from Tretinoin (flakes) it works very well. Have been testing the few foundations I have while my skin is kind of dry and flaky from too much Tretinoin cream. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk is a no. Sephora Best Skin Ever is a no. Neutrogena Sheer Mineral (powder) Foundation is a no.
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue is iffy. Neutrogena HydroBoost Hydrating Tint is a YES. *however, my shade does oxidize a bit
It does remain tacky, but that doesn't bother me much. I even think my husband complimented me while wearing it, if memory serves me well.
I am trying to survive the disgustingly, gross humidity of Florida. Have to wear blazers, dress pants, etc. for work, that also takes me outside for services at gravesite. (Funeral Home) Yeah, not ideal. I turn into swamp-thing pretty quickly but need to look professional. So, it's been days of testing all sorts of combinations and I thought maybe I was SOL and wouldn't have a long lasting face to endure the long, hot days yet now I think this may do the job, with maybe a little powder to set a little. I am afraid to mist my Ben Nye Final Seal over my skin as it is drying, but need staying power.
Any suggestions?

I think you should try the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer. It has very good reviews and I think it’s good for people who struggle with acne (including me 🙄)

Well, this is about 3 years old, and I like this makeup and even wear the same shade as you do, when I use it , but now that Foundation sticks are on sale , I wondered what you thought of them. . Tried to find a review by you of the Neutrogena Foundation stick in the HydroBoost line but haven't found it yet. HAPPY NEW YEAR☺
What shade do you wear? I bought a bottle 2 years ago, and I am probably going to buy another. My old is shade 30. I am fair, but not The fairest. Technically, I could probably wear shade 10. I just like to cover up redness, so I pick something darker or warmer.

What would you suggest?? I moisturize and prime before putting on my foundation. My skin seems fine but then I put on my foundation and BAM! My skin looks dry and flakey. I’ve exfoliated but that doesn’t help. Is it that I’m using the wrong moisturizer? The wrong foundation? What are your thoughts?
You might be mixing silicone based and water based products. That usually causes separation and weirdness in foundation. You might also not be letting the moisturizer/ primer dry fast enough before applying the foundation. I usually have to let mine dry before applying. I hope this helped!

I've been on the fence about buying this foundation but seeing your review has definitely made my decision! By any chance have you tried the Maybelline Dream Cushion foundation? If so, could you let me know what color you are in that formula?I know that I match to 20 in the maybelline... It looks like we have the same skin tone but it's hard to tell! Thanks!

Just bought it, and I love it for an everyday foundation!
I've never worn everyday makeup as I've said before...but do you think this would be a good foundation for acne scars? If so, I might actually try it.
probably not, I have extensive acne scarring and I've bought a LOT of foundations lately and been trying new things, its more like a makeup no makeup look where it covers some redness but the scars peek through. if you want more coverage you can always use a full coverage concealer or a foundation powder on top (which is what I do) when I'm feeling like a lighter day. but if you want an all in one cover product. these types of foundations aren't it.
I am 28 years old and I have never used any foundation ever, my mom never allowed. My skin is so sensitive that I am afraid foundations will cause me acne and dark spots that won't be reversed. Acne is my major concern actually, I have a 70% oily skin. Please please tell me which foundation is good for a medium coverage which won't cause me breakouts. Thank you sooooo much.
if I were you I would avoid foundation altogether. once you disrupt your skins natual microbiome there's no going back and I know A LOT of womens makeup contain harmful chemicals and formaldehyde which disrupt the skins natural barrier so its a never ending cycle. knowing as much as I do I conceeded as I have had horrible cystic acne my whole life and just wanted people to stop staring so much. however if I had clear skin naturally I would steer clear. however that's just my opinion.

Informative & well thought- as always! I actually think that we don't have the foundation here in Germany- but I'll look if I can find it online..you should try one of the Bojours healthy mix foundations next 🙈- Lisa Eldrigde recommends them aall the time and I have one myself- such a good foundation- quite mattifying and it is smelling of fruit; Personally in my opinion the the scent is too intense, but maybe you will like it.

It's more of a gel consistency and is a lighter coverage than the Healthy Skin Foundation! :)

I'm getting this! But would definitely put a powder on top of it. It's hydrating and your makeup will definitely melt. I have Rosacea, you'd think I'd want a full coverage. Nope. Swatched Milani's green correcting primer an liked it. But Hard Candy's green correcting primer, WOW! And it has perfume in it! But I will most likely grab Milani's! Remember, concealer conceals everything!

Is this suppose to be a tinted moisturizer or is it a foundation?
Jess It's marketed as a tinted moisturizer, but it's closer to a light/medium foundation. It doesn't apply like a BB cream or the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. It does give more hydration than foundation, but it's between a tinted moisturizer and foundation.
