I have been using a similar sensor, different brand for my fridge and it works very well. I have also put one near my Victron MultiPlus II to monitor its outside temperature. This way I can take action before it overheats.

Thanks for the great video. How are you liking your LG 6 cuft compressor refrigerator? I bet the Ruuvi sensor gives you an accurate temperature reading so you can get it adjusted just right. Used a permanent marker to identify my perfect setting on my Isotherm compressor refrigerator thermostat.

The sensors are very useful, as I don’t have to open the doors or rely on my innacurate thermostats, and the graph allows me to see what has happened over time. The sensors are placed strategically, in accordance with official sources (which you provided, lol). The outside temperature and blazing sun certainly impact performance. The LG fridge is good, but I need to defrost it every 4 to 6 days . After placing a bright light inside to check for gaps around the door and watching videos on Asiatic UA-cam channels with the same LG fridge, I believe this is normal in hot and humid conditions. I’ll probably end up with a two-door fridge at some point.
