- The Turkish defence industry has seen major expansion in the past few years, not just in terms of the size of the companies, but also in the volume of exports. Turkish company Aselsan is one of those at the forefront of this growth. Andrew Hopkins reports from its headquarters in Ankara.

Iran should follow in Turkey's footsteps. Unfortunately we don't have access to Western technologies due to sanctions. But self reliance is very important.
Exactly, self reliance is atmost..... And to be honest your country iran is doing great in that, even after having sanctions for decades you people still have a good defense industry..... You have to modernize your Airforce quickly by importing from friendly nations like Russia and china and if possible from turkey, Pakistan too......
