The fact that they brought back Chase McCain's voice actor (unlike the ninjago characters) for Lego Dimensions just makes him even better. He's definitely my favourite character.
I have seen every episode of Knight Rider and the creators of dimensions really went all out!! It was a pure nostalgic trip of 80s cheese. (Also 11th doctor is the best hands down)
This game should receive a normal, digital version with digital DLCs. Especially that they already have a completed game and it will cost them nothing to release it on Steam or PS5/XSX. They can only earn money this way and it will be much more than the game ever earned with stupid toys. Until this happens (most likely will never happen) this game should not exist in our heads and should never be mentioned. It was created only to suck all money from our wallets and this shouldn't be approved by fans. And a reminder, this game was made for children and their parent's wallets, not for adults, who can decide, whether they can afford this or not P.S. It's not about the money, but the fact that it was released only on consoles, with hundreds of additional packages that were hard to get then and nowadays it is almost impossible as they are few times more expensive. I would pay for the digital PC version of every pack immediately.

But 12 bucks for one or two minifigs and one small and simple vehicle is still a lot, considering that you need to buy like twenty packs or even more to have a full experience and also a lot for a starter pack.
I really love how "open your heart" playes at final boss fight chaos when sonic goes super just oike in original sonic adventure, but this time you can actually BEAT THE CRAP out of Chaos listening to this sick guitar.
There are so many unique and amazing characters in this game ! I mean, it's pretty sad that you need to buy the toys in order to play them as much as you want but at least you get cool Minifigurines.
This game was fun as hell, with the portal base mechanics an everything, too bad it was expensive, they should at least add nfc readers into modern controllers to scan a minifig, like the amiibos with the joycons, and scan it again to make it dissapear

Interesting fact. Tom Cruise is famous for never having his likeness appear on merchandise or in games. I guess Lego Ethan Hunt looks enough not like Tom Cruise that it got a pass, making Lego Dimensions the only Mission Impossible game that you can that you can actually play as Ethan Hunt.
It's funny because in Green lantern lore, if you wear a red lantern ring and took it off, you would die. So if it were lore accurate, Super-girl putting on that ring would be a one time thing unless there was a blue lantern to help you remove it.
I love this game. I really want to replay it on modern hardware. I own all of it. It cost me around £650 to get all them but I got some insane deals. And not all my sets are new or in good condition but all the tags work I got green arrow for £7 sealed and super girl for £20 used but great condition.
My son’s favourite character is probably Beast Boy - we’ve just bought a load of tags without mini figures just to unlock the worlds, it’s the most fun game :)
Lord Vortech was meant to be the best, with unique voicelines, interactions and abilities. But he never made it to the game , because it was canceled before year 3, with Sauron and Dorothy. Dorothy was included later as a LEGO Movie 2 CMF, but Vortech is still missing😭
the part of my Newt Scamander's toy tag that is scanned (the bottom) was offset so it wont scan and be put in the game. has this happened to any of yours? also are you gonna do a video on the best vehicles?

something im fnding annoying is that the doctor for me on ps4 dosen regenerate so im stuck with the twelth doctor (if you didnt knnow this is a glitch which i cant actually fix)
Sonic being in lego dimensions isn't the first time TT games have handled sonic. TT games before doing nothing but lego games made various licensed games of different things (mostly disney stuff), and sonic was among those series they made games for. Their first game was Sonic 3D Blast for the genesis/megadrive and sega saturn in 1996. And then a year later they made Sonic R for the sega saturn and PC. So seeing TT games tackle sonic again for a third time since the meme able racing game with the cheesy vocal songs was quite nice after 20 years at that time.

13:30 Jake can also transform into a big sphere ( 8:18 ) so you also do not need the JP Gyro. I like to put Jake, Chase, and Sloth on my Dimensions GamePad. You did not mention Sloth (from the Goonies Adventure World). Sloth has the "ability" to transform into ALL of the Goonies. Each one of them bring a different ability to the "character".
Unfortunately, I was never able to access the other versions of the Doctor due to being stuck with the broken Wii U version of the game combined with the ability to switch between the other Doctors being locked behind finishing the level pack, which I couldn't do because the Wii U version is broken and made it impossible to finish the level pack. For context, there's glitch in the Wii U version that makes it so you're unable to use Tardis locations. I press the button to interact with it, only for the Tardis to stay floating and just the sound effect of the Tardis disappearing plays. To make matters worse, the game doesn't let you step into the Tardis to select the final area of the level manually, so I was locked out of all the upgrades for both the K-9 and the Tardis, unable to access the other versions of the Doctor, and barred from being able to %100 percent the game, all because of this stupid glitch.
I've been wanting to play lego Dimensions for so long now, I played it a long time ago, and I have no idea where it went. It cost like $200 now, it sucks that they discontinued it
You should have mentioned the fact that characters like Marceline or The Powerpuff Girls are incredible characters to explore and fight due to their regenerative ability making them almost impossible to defeat. The PPG are more broken than Marceline due to their fast attacks and distance laser vision, freeze breath, or tornado, and also PPG finishing moves can destroy the enemy (not like Marceline's which only scare the enemy) however, Starfire would take the 1# position in this category since in addition to having laser and regeneration, she also shoots several energy balls, and can create a beam of electricity that destroys an enemy (or another player in a battle arena) very quickly. Superman and Supergirl would take 1# overall on the entire list since they are permanently Invulnerable and can also regenerate little by little (in case you have lost hearts with a previous character)

The aspect of Lego Dimensions I miss the most is how you can have a whole party of your favourite characters to roam around with and switch between them when you come across a new obstacle. In the others, you only get two characters. So you'll pick your two favourites, have a little stroll, only to come across something they can't do and painstakingly bring up the massive character menu and find the one you need.
Sonic has one of the most best level packs We got emerald coast and station square in background wich is a reference to sonic adventure 1 We even got open you're heart from crush 40 this is the best level pack ever We even got so much references to sonic with the cards We got even a reference when sonic is doing nothing when he sleeps a 8 bit sonic will run in mind we even got big in a adventure time level and so much more
I have em all. Finally after all these years. Buying just the toy tags without the figure and package for about 2 years. Now I just gotta buy the portal
2 figures away from the complete set. It’s the last two Power Puff Girls and they’re stupid money. Everyone else was picked up when the game went to clearance, on Gumtree, charity shops and eBay. I would also buy lots for low price, keep what we needed and sell the rest. The whole collection barely cost me £100. Ended up with both the PS3 and PS4 versions so both got the platinum trophy treatment + 100% DLC trophies.
While I would never play the game again (I made sure of that), I would probably say my favorite characters were Chel from Portal, as well as Scooby and Shaggy.

I so badly want to beable to play tjis game but it’s hard and expensive too. They put so much love into all these characters and no one gets to experience it anymore. I really hope they’ll do a digital rerelease at some point. Were we can all experience this masterpiece at a far lower cost. They would just hsve to find a way to make the portal movement stuff work without a physical portal. But sadly i doubt this will ever happen.

I so badly want to beable to play tjis game but it’s hard and expensive too. They put so much love into all these characters and no one gets to experience it anymore. I really hope they’ll do a digital rerelease at some point. Were we can all experience this masterpiece at a far lower cost. They would just hsve to find a way to make the portal movement stuff work without a physical portal.
But sadly i doubt this will ever happen.
And Now I have urge to get a job, work, buy all lego dimensions figs, and replay the whole thing but slowly
