Happy Friday, I absolutely loved this cash condensing video. Enjoyed watching while enjoying lunch. You do such a good job when condensing and make it look so easy ❤ Have a great weekend.
Hi! How are you? How do you figure how many $100 to take out to condense your cash condensing? That old $100 is so cool. I wish they still make those. God bless and have a great weekend🎄☃️
Hi Lisa. I’m not 100% sure I understand your question, but I believe the answer is that I take out anything that totals $100 for the specific category and swap it for the $100’s… either in prop (if I’m taking it back to the bank to deposit in savings) or in real $100’s to condense and potentially use at a later date. If you’re referring to the withdrawal of $100’s, I would just look back at my envelopes and see which ones need the swap and count them that way or in this case, I took out $1000 in $100’s to film this video in time. 😊
The vellum place holders are from Taryn @breatheandbudget I have her shop linked in the description. The 100’s I bought them from Amazon and just added some stickers 😊
Hi Loretta. I’m taking to the bank LONG term categories that would accumulate naturally over time with over 1 thousand I try not to keep too much accessible 100 hundreds of dollars on some categories. I unstuff, at the end of the month, when those categories reach over $100 and represent the amount in my savings for that specific category using prop bills.
These may be a series of stupid questions, but I'm just barely getting started with cash stuffing so I'm confused on what "going back to the bank" actually means..is this money you've saved up going into a checking acct? Or a separate savings? How do you keep it from accidentally being spent or mixed up with other envelope savings amounts? Any advice would be so appreciated! Blessings!
I would love to answer your question in depth in a future video, but I did want to answer it the best I could on here… I definitely keep track of what I deposit into our savings accounts and what account I deposit them into because if I were to deposit it back into checking, that would be too difficult to keep track of “balance” wise. So, yes, I do keep track of what I have in my savings account for the specific envelopes that have prop bills. If you keep track of your spending on a budget sheet tracker, you won’t confuse the funds because they have to tie out to your balance in your savings accounts even if you spend from that specific category. Keep track of what goes in and out of the account is key to not losing track. I specifically give prop bills to those categories to represent what is in the savings account and in turn helps me know how much money I truly have for that category. I hope this information was helpful. I would love to talk more about it in my channel on a future video for sure 🫶🏼 God bless 🙏🏼🤍
@PaychecksPrayers thanks so much for the info! That did explain it a lot better and I'm definitely gonna use some of your methods to keep track. I'll be looking out for the video where you talk about this more too. 😊

Hi. New sub here 😀. Do you take cash back to the bank after you stuff envelopes or only take it every couple of weeks? Thank you.

What do you use for your tracker on your iPad @paychecksprayers
I use the good notes App. I created the trackers on excel and downloaded them as a PDF on my iPad and then uploaded it to the good notes App.
