Nice vid Sammy. What a spot. Pro tip for them garlic/chili tubes. When you squeeze some out, put the lid back on before releasing pressure on the tube. This keeps air out and they last a lot longer. cheers.

This is definitely my favorite adventure so far. It's great being on the boat but this is so chill and the scenery beautiful. My new desktop background is you in ytour chair on the beach and that beautiful view. Ah, but now "back to reality."
Sammy, I have been watching your adventures for a long time now. I am from Cape Town, and unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with cancer. Your fishing channel has been my Sunday watch. I think back of my times fishing, and now it is no more. Keep it up, son, take care and keep the lines wet.
Dart fresh are great to eat. I used to live 100 metres from the beach on the Sunny Coast , I would grab a rod and head to the beach to grab some beach worms to catch a few Dart, straight back home to cook them for lunch....Yum...!
Great video Sammy! Tip for the pippies just grab 2 and smash them together one will break. Then You don't have to go to hard ground and peg them on the ground.
Great video Sammy. To open pipis I just use the Phantom Tool down the side and also good to scrape out the meat they open up easily with that. The Phantom tool is put to good use on the beach.!
Those Sea Eagles sure know how to pick up a free feed, i watched one in the passage a couple of weeks ago, when it was blowing a gale, it dropped out of the sky and came back up with a lizard bigger than it, he had to do a couple of slow circles to gain the altitude he needed to take it home. Loved the view for breakfast Sammy, and the beach fishing is always great fun. The ending with the whales was great too, much better than looking at your other whale mate. 😂
Yeh I saw that one too, he had to do a big circle back up to gain height, my wife said, imagine if he dropped that and it hit you in the head, it would knock you stupid.😄@@Browntribeadventures
note to self - Don't watch old mate stuffing himself with tailor when you haven't had a feed yourself! I'm 3 homebrews in so now I have to beg the missus to get tucker.
Awesome vid mate I love a good beach fishing and camping trip. Also if your not aware I think it is 100m or 300m away from filming marine animals with a drone i know of someone that films in moreton bay that got big fines drone flying above dolphins. Keep up the good vids mate😎
Sensacional 😋💯, já no início do vídeo comendo uma anchova assada na brasa top top.... belíssimo lugar pra acampar e pegar belíssimos exemplares.... show 👏👏 vídeo 🔝
Love beach fishing and those spots you were at were primo looking places. I love to get the slide on camper onto the 1 tonner and staying on the beach, the missus loves doing that type of fishing and camping so it's a double bonus
Back from Fraser a couple of weeks now. All the mates sitting on their bums waiting for the tailor at Waddy, and I'm catching 40cm plus dart every cast. Got my pb at 43.5. I agree with you mate, great fun to catch and brilliant to eat. I like my panko crumb lemon and garlic mayo! Best time of year to wet a line! Keep up the great beach fishing vids!
Hello Sammy, I live in Brazil and I love your videos and your lifestyle. When I buy anchovies, they ask me if I prefer them flat on their belly or on their back. Currently I only ask for it flat on its back so I can grill it with the head on. Have you ever done it like this?
Great vid. What part of the Australian coastline are you travelling through? Planning a trip fishing the coastt from southern WA to ningaloo coastline.
Hello sir, i just want to ask a question about the bone heartcore 862ML. How was the casting distance and performance of the rod? And also the durability and quality? Im planning to purchase the same rod you used. Thank you sir and enjoy fishing.
Hi there! This rod casts the light weights very well with 6lb-10lb braid. I found it to fish very well and have had no issues with durability as of yet. Lovely rod 👌👌
Love those beach fishing videos Sammy. The only way to fish. Those Dart look a little similar to a small queen fish might be related if they have spikes?😊
Mate hoping to get there at some stage planning a trip to Fraser next year about September when cod season closes then hopefully plan trip to experience north straddie talior fishing
Mate talk about your happy place? 💯 I’ve been dreaming about a camping/fishing trip for so long, now I’m super keen. 😍 just need to decide where to go.
Hi Sammy I have watched you for several years and in that time you have eaten a heap of sashimi I have wondered why you have never eaten Snapper as sashimi .You catch them all the time but seem to overlook them for other species We eat it all the time along with whiting and the bait yellowtails . Give it a go, you'll be pleasantly surprised Terry Ward
Good video, thanks. However you guys never say where you are because in Victoria it's not legal to drive on the beach, so I'm guessing your'e up north, cheers.
@@SammyHitzkeFishing awesome bud. Hopefully one day can get up there. Nothing good like that in Sydney these days. It's like peak hour on any beach you can drive or camp on. Looking at doing north west island Next year so maybe get to straddie around then. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
The grill pattern looks like tire marks 😂 Bloody marvelous mate. Gotta love Straddie! My folks live there. I’ll be back therefrom the US in Nov. Can’t wait!
I can’t understand why people think Dart are not good eating. They are a little slimy and smelly to prep but taste delicious cooked. I always head spike and bleed immediately. Maybe that’s why they’re good to eat?
Yeah I’d seen a few people do that. Was wondering if they ever coped a shard of shell in the hand? Also seen people belt them on the screw at the back of the Alveys
Nice vid Sammy. What a spot. Pro tip for them garlic/chili tubes. When you squeeze some out, put the lid back on before releasing pressure on the tube. This keeps air out and they last a lot longer. cheers.
I totally agree Sammy! "Rushing is out of the question." Take your time, enjoy your world with all of your senses. Slow down and.... relax...

Hahah cheers mate, I’d say it’s got something to do with my rough lid 😂😂
But appreciate the kind words and support 🙌🙌

This is definitely my favorite adventure so far. It's great being on the boat but this is so chill and the scenery beautiful. My new desktop background is you in ytour chair on the beach and that beautiful view. Ah, but now "back to reality."
Agree with you
Dart are beautiful skun, coated in salt pepper and flour and pan fried whole. 👍

So sorry to hear mate! Wishing you all the best with your recovery and so glad you are enjoying the videos in the meantime!
Cheers 🍻🍻🍻
That "hooter" dart was awesome. I love Dart, even if they are a poorer eating fish - they sure do pull good, and provide excitement on light tackle!
Dart fresh are great to eat. I used to live 100 metres from the beach on the Sunny Coast , I would grab a rod and head to the beach to grab some beach worms to catch a few Dart, straight back home to cook them for lunch....Yum...!
Still sad I couldn't join you for this one.
Watching the nice vid was the next best thing. Good job on that.
It all looked like loads of fun.
Cheers Tez 🍻
Great video Sammy!
Tip for the pippies just grab 2 and smash them together one will break. Then You don't have to go to hard ground and peg them on the ground.
Thanks mate! Yeah I’ve seen people doing that, I always wondered if there was a chance of a bit of broken shell stabbing you or not?
@SammyHitzkeFishing
Na they just cracked they don't shatter especially if they are fresh.
Great video Sammy. To open pipis I just use the Phantom Tool down the side and also good to scrape out the meat they open up easily with that.

Sammys quote of the day "they'll be somewhere"
Nice vid mate 👍, the birds are always awesome to see & as for pipi’s fish with an alvey and a tap on the back nut on reel , done
Cheers mate! Little hard to Alvey tap on the spin reel so have to go for the ground smash 👌👌
Your cinematography skills are getting better and better, keep the vids coming, thanks mate
Appreciate it mate! Thanks for watching 🍻🍻
Awesome video mate. Straddie is such a special place.
So good hey! And relatively close to home as well!
Great video, thanks
Use to love heading up to double island when I was younger and getting pipis then use them to get a feed of dart and whiting
Yeah that’s the go 👌👌🍻🍻

I watched one at Torbul grab a huge flatty about a month ago, very disheartening after fishing for a few hours and he just coke flying in no dramas 🫠🤣
Hahaha cheers mate! I’ll be sure to let Shauno know he is the inferior whale 😂😂

Nice spot Sammy. love a feast of fresh Tailor.
The highlight of my Sunday evening Sammy. 👍
Thanks for tuning in mate! Glad you enjoyed the video 🍻🍻
A good sized dart would pull a tailer the same size backwards they fight hard and taste great

Can you include in one of your videos what knife are you using? It's so sharp
@sammy hizke fishing, thanks for the epic episode. Hey, any chance you can do an episode on whiting, bream, and grunter off the beach
Hopefully get a few whiting and bream in the coming months. We don’t get too many grunter off the beach down here unfortunately
Straddie is a lovely place mate. Love the content keep it up mate.

Where did you get that grill? Custom?
That’s just from BCF mate, folds down and packs flat too 👌👌
Can you include in one of your videos how you sharpen your knives
I have the same knives and its about as sharp as a butter knife now
Watching the waves catching tailor beats watching Israel Gazza war so much destruction
Can anyone tell me what camp ground location this was please 🙏 it looked great with the shade too.
Stradbroke island 👍

I’m heading up teewah tomorrow for a few days in the gutters- cheat’s mate.
Hope you get a few!!
No jigging for dart with the samaki's?
Nah I wanted to use the baits this time. I use the mustad Mezashi jigs for the dart by the way 👍

This one was filmed on stradbroke island in QLD 👍
sammy! fish tacos would been nice
Can’t go wrong with fish tacos!
Name a more difficult fish to hold than a Dart? Try an Electric Eel Sammy😅 Currently no1 on my list.
Hahah well that’s true I reckon you might win this round 😂😂

You don't need a great amount of pressure, no never any shells in finger or hand .
