2023 Mexican Riviera Cruise on Discovery Princess Feb 25 - Mar 4, 2023

- Did a 7-night cruise to the Mexican Riviera out of the port of San Pedro Los Angeles starting Feb 25 thru March 4th, 2023 on the Discovery Princess. Was a new ship just launched last March 2022. Visited Cabo San Lucas, then Mazatlan, then Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Just walked around the marina in Cabo, but did a van city tour of Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. Watched cliff divers in Mazatlan.

I used a GoPro Hero 9 and just recently upgraded to a Hero 11 camera.

I use a Gopro hero 9 black, but now use a GoPro hero 11.
In Matzatlan and Puerto Vallarta when you get off the ship are you in the city center where you can walk and shop with restaurants?
Puerto Vallarta is too far from the ship. We found a van just off the ship offering a tour. $30 each had 3 couple that shared the van, great tour and very informative. Mazatlan has a few shops just off ship. But again, there were several taxi's and tour vans offering tours which cost around $35 each.
do you have a good cellphone signal esp calling the US? What time would you recommend to be at the Port for the 3pm departure?
Only in the different ports, we have Verizon and only used the txt, didn't try making a voice call. You can buy a plan aboard ship to be able to use your phone while cruising.
